Job Description
Job Duties:
Conducts tests of Loan Originations and Loan Servicing related functions in accordance to policy and procedure
Researches trends to identify root causes, sequence of events and control deficiencies, if applicable
Compiles data, performs detailed analysis, produces regular reports to highlight findings and recommendations
Identifies trends, concerns and red flags and escalates recommendations to Senior Analysts.
Recommends potential testing based on identified observations and trends
Develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of business processes, policies and systems
Participates in conducting ad hoc testing and special projects, as needed
Other duties as assigned
Education and Work Experience:
College Degree in a related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
Automobile lending and/or collections experience is required.
Three (3) years of consumer auto finance experience preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in consumer loan servicing (customer service, collections) call center environment and or loan originations (credit, funding); quality control/testing experience preferred
A thorough understanding of non-prime underwriting techniques, verification processes, customer service and collections practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent analytical skill required, as well as the ability to utilize appropriate analysis, judgment, and logic. Strong knowledge of federal, state law and regulations applicable to auto finance.
