First shift. The primary purpose of this job is to perform technical functions related to the production of batteries and capacitors. This position is responsible for the setup, inspection, data analysis and troubleshooting related to various technical production functions around testing, destruction analysis and machine operations. This position will follow standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations under limited supervision
Key Accountabilities:
1. Adheres to Integer values and all safety and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
2. Sets up and runs experiments and/or test apparatus following clear instructions. Operates some or all of the following: electrical test stations and software, cathode printing equipment and software, microscopes, micrometer, retical, metallograph, scales, data recording software, OCV meters, cameras, XRF, laser marker, plasma cleaner, spot welder or other measuring devices.
3. Performs failure analysis, initial troubleshooting and repairs including but not limited to checking system accuracy, carriers and racks are properly functioning, and calibrations Handles rack check operations.
4. Performs routine product analysis using standard procedures making accept/reject decisions based on product documents.
5. Compiles and summarizes results of tests for evaluation by engineering support teams.
6. Manages visual inspection processes on routine parts to confirm product quality. This includes decision on pass/fail of product quality.
7. Complies and completes documentation including but not limited to: reports, RMAs, DIRs, SDRs, LDRs, cell codes, work orders, SOKs to required specifications and procedures based on product type.
8. Handles 5S cleaning of all equipment outlined in #2 to ensure long term equipment and product quality.
9. Performs other functions as required
Minimum Education:
High school graduate. Associate's Degree preferred but not required.
Minimum Experience:
3 years of Integer related work experience and/or 5 years of experience in a regulated industry required. Experience mixing chemicals preferred
Specialized Knowledge:
Ability to read technical drawings/prints. Computer operation skills. Mechanical aptitude. Product knowledge helpful.
Special Skills:
Good organizational and communication skills. Strong computer skills. Detail oriented, organized and demonstrates the ability to work both independently and as a team.
Salary 17.30- 25.38 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs first piece, in process and final inspections on vendor supplied or Dimar manufactured parts.
Provides inspection support in the form of liaison working with production and engineering to facilitate solutions to questions or problems that may arise.
Works with the QA Manager and Senior Quality Supervisor, implement and maintain quality systems, and documentation to ensure compliance with Dimar's quality management system.
Direct Customer QA contact for quality concerns against products supplied and or in the process of being produced.
Processing of RMA's, FAI's and Certificates of Conformance to customer requirements.
Works with the QA Manager and Quality Supervisor to develop and implement ECN's (engineering change notices) to ensure product and print updates within the system.
Helps in the training of new QA technicians to the Dimar Manufacturing processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
Documents NCR's periodically updates the NCR database and interacts with customers via email to secure the return of nonconforming products.
Participate in the creation and revising of company documents to include but not limited to Work Instructions and Procedures with the input and guidance of Dimar supervision and managers.
Maintains up-to-date documentation by completing all necessary paperwork (i.e., in process inspection records, signing off on job travelers, 1st piece inspection tags, CoC's, MTR's, etc.).
Performs training as required for team members to include but not limited to inspection methods, work instructions, procedures, or production processes.
Provides continuous feedback to Quality Manager and supervisor regarding quality, engineering and manufacturing related issues.
Completes work on quality system and or process improvements.
Performs part and process related internal audits.
Processes customer returns and ensures timely disposition of parts.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong ability in reading and interpreting complex drawings/blueprints to understand parameters of parts. Familiarity with basic geometric tolerancing and weld symbols is preferred.
Knowledgeable in the use of all inspection equipment including, but not limited to micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gages, gage pins and gage blocks. CMM and thread gage knowledge helpful.
Knowledgeable about current quality system standards such as ISO 9001 and/or TS 16949 helpful.
Maintains composure under pressure. Ability to multi-task in response to numerous demands.
Strong time management skills.
Detail oriented.
Computer proficiency in Excel and Word required.
Ability to learn and adapt any new company computer software programs for the Dimar Business system.
Familiarity with ERP systems helpful.
Experience and Education:
High School Diploma required.
Associates degree preferred.

The Quality Technician will perform product sampling, inspection and testing and document the results on the appropriate forms and data collection systems provided. The individual will also be expected to have the proper knowledge and expertise to navigate the various computer software programs and databases required to perform these tasks and other duties within the scope of the job. Other requirements of the position include familiarity with the product line, the ability to generate and disposition NCMR's, the proper knowledge to operate and maintain test equipment, assist with incoming raw material inspection, returned material inspection, part inspection for PPAP's, participation in gage studies, write work instructions, and auditing processes and inspection results performed by manufacturing operators. The position requires the person to be a self starter, a good communicator who actively participates in department functions and can provide suggestions towards continuous improvement. The position will require the individual to work overtime to provide shift coverage for vacations and the start-up of additional manufacturing processes. Participation in audits required when audit involves areas which fall under the technician's job duties.

Job Description
GTI specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication, and deployment of custom modular structures, shipping container-based structures, and ballistic metal fabrication. We serve multiple industries, including DOD contractors, military, disaster relief, and commercial markets. Our containerized and modular solutions are all built in-house at our factory in Buffalo, NY. Manufacturing capabilities range from military training, live fire enclosures, bathroom/shower units, expeditionary camps, medical facilities, water treatment, electrical/energy storage enclosures, and much more.

The QC Technician is responsible for the inspection and testing of materials and finished products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure they comply with all applicable laws, industry codes & standards, as well as Company and Customer specifications/standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain inspection reports.
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.
Maintain calibration of quality control equipment.
Perform inspections across all stages of production.
Prepare and maintain test data for review.
Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.
Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.
Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
Other duties as assigned by the QA Manager.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Solid understanding of measuring, inspection and test equipment.
Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience in the metals fabrication industry.
Visual weld and welding inspection experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. (minimum required visual acuity - 20/20 corrected or uncorrected)
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and fabrication drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's Degree in a related field.
AWS Certified Welding Inspector - CWI.

SUMMARY: Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs visual inspections and physical tests utilizing equipment in Lab. Products are tested for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance or chemical characteristics.
Records and evaluates test data and writes reports.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Enters data into computer for analysis.
Prepares certificates of analysis on finished product for our customers.
Able to use and read measuring instruments as well as operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Trial reports, inspection and tracking.
Assist QA and Technical departments in their duties.
Must take responsibility for work assigned.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Support and follow all plant Safety Rules, GMPs, and other procedural training requirements.
