Job Description
Responsible for general site upkeep, such as, general maintenance, housekeeping, stocking, etc.
Operate forklifts to support plant operations.
Assisting with operating equipment and systems in accordance with site specific activities.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Assist with problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Monitor and determine disposition of components and assemblies rejected by Production with a red tag.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is in a general shop and sometimes outside, and it has access to all welfare facilities. In some cases, the temperature can be warmer or colder depending on the season. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Act as the first line of communication with customers and warehouse sites; advise customers of service failures and coordinate resolutions
* Audit daily order processes; ensure all orders are sent to each site
* Monitor and report all errors for performance tracking
* Work creatively with the Inventory Control team, Transportation department and warehouse sites on service resolutions
* Oversee service provider performance and engage providers for service improvement

What you need to succeed at GXO:

* 2 years of experience in customer service, distribution or logistics in a manufacturing environment
* 2 years of experience in transportation and operations

The Engine Overhaul Technician performs maintenance, inspection, repair, and overhaul primarily on TFE 731 engines, systems, and components, and a variety of other of aircraft engines as needed. * With limited supervision, assists in high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft engines, systems, and components on a variety of aircraft engines using proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe and professional manner with minimal rework. Orders general parts as needed.
* With limited supervision, prepares various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, engine process sheets, personal training log, etc.). Demonstrates proficiency of Duncan Aviation work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) and compliance statements.
