Help us establish a culture of quality from the ground floor at our facility, contribute to the quality team needed to maintain excellent standards and regulatory compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and enforce food safety and quality standard throughout the facility by following all quality programs including sanitation, HACCP, cGMP, food defense, food fraud, pest control, calibration, traceability, training, internal audit, and vendor approval programs. Support compliance with Quality and Regulatory requirements and GFSI, HACCP and cGMP policies and regulations. Conduct basic daily tests (pH, chemical concentrations, swabbing), inspections, and audits of the facility. Ensure finished goods quality standards are achieved through routine quality checks during startup and throughout the shift. Ensure that finished product meets those specifications. Conduct pre-operational inspections of production equipment. Conduct audits and signoffs of master sanitation schedule. Work closely with production operators, maintenance, and warehouse to achieve quality standards and requirements, adjusting process parameters as needed. Support investigations of non-conforming product and support corrective and preventative actions implementation. Place non-conforming products on hold and escalate issues to management. Facilitate and escalate quality issues within responsible departments, work closely with production to resolve matters that affect safety and quality Ensure accurate record keeping and completion of documents including batch paperwork, and CCP monitoring. Lead by example to drive a culture of quality. Other duties as assigned This job requires the ability to work a flexible schedule with primary days and hours.
