How You'll Make an Impact:
Operate machinery, process and/or filling equipment to meet production goals
Set up production lines correctly and perform core Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities
Operate equipment such as fillers, sleeve labelers, cappers, tape machines, bar coders, ink jet printers, hand wrenches, hand stamps, palletizers, and lid presses
Review filling and packaging instructions and ensure correct materials and PPE are available
Perform quality checks, including taking samples and monitoring fill weights
Document quality and productivity data accurately in paper or electronic systems

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

As the Aerospace Quality Assurance Process Technician, you will complete CMM and tooling inspections along with managing the calibration system. This is an onsite role at our Grand Prairie, TX. facility. You will report to the Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect various tools and inspection devices using Coordinate Measurement equipment (CMM), such as FARO Arm and Laser Tracker Equipment to ensure they meet established requirements.

About the Role:

Perform ongoing inspections and quality verification of parts and assemblies during production to ensure conformance to engineering drawings, specifications and approved process controls. Own in-process checks, first
article verifications, in-line sampling, nonconformance identification/containment, and documentation to support
on-time delivery and product quality for Amphenol's manufacturing operations.
Essential Functions:
Perform visual and dimensional inspections per work instructions, control plans and inspection drawings (first article, in-process sampling, final checks).
Use calibrated measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, optical comparators, video inspection microscopes, profilometers where applicable) to verify critical dimensions and tolerances.
Execute first piece inspections
Perform in-process audits and SPC sampling; record inspection data and enter results into MES/ERP/QC systems.
Identify, segregate and document nonconforming material; initiate and route NCRs / RMA / corrective action requests and apply containment actions as required.
Work with production leads and engineering to troubleshoot process issues, provide immediate feedback to operators, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Verify tooling, fixtures and process parameters are correct before and during production runs; confirm setup and lot traceability (lots, serials, date codes).
Participate in root-cause investigations (8D/RCAs), support corrective action implementation and verify effectiveness.
Maintain inspection equipment calibration records and notify Quality/Calibration team of out-of-calibration tools.
Support internal and external quality audits, including customer visits and regulatory compliance checks.
Enforce EHS, 5S, safety and quality policies on the line; stop production for critical safety or quality risks and escalate appropriately.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma or GED required, technical certificate or associate degree in metrology, quality, manufacturing or related field preferred.
5+ manufacturing quality inspection experience (adjust upward for senior levels).
Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbology, dimensional tolerances and control plans.
Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, basic optical inspection equipment and go/no-go gauges.
Basic computer skills and experience entering inspection/test data into ERP/MES/QC systems.
Strong attention to detail, good written/verbal communication and ability to work on a fast-paced production floor.
Ability to stand, walk production lines, and lift up to ~25-50 lbs occasionally.
Required Education and Experience:
5+ years' experience in manufacturing quality
Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or ASQ certification, IPC-A-610 or equivalent assembly inspection certification preferred.
Experience with SPC tools, measurement systems analysis (MSA/Gage R&R), FAI/PPAP processes and root-cause tools (5 Why, 8D).
Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality systems and common manufacturing documentation practices.
Experience in cable/connector assembly, fiber optic assemblies or electro-mechanical manufacturing is a plus.

Experience Required
2 or more years prior work experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), food, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry (can be substituted with education or applicable certifications)
Experience inspecting and testing in a cGMP environment is a plus.
Experience in performing NOE investigations.
2 or more years prior work experience in Microbiological Testing.
Physical Requirements

QA Technician - 1st Shift

Purpose:
Performs under the Department of Quality Assurance under the direct report of Internal Auditor. Enters daily results for microbiology and chemistry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Enter chemical analysis and microbiological results.
• Make worksheets for microbiology as needed.
• Make reports for microbiology as needed.
• Enter weights for QA department, record physical defects, and create monthly reports.
• Responsible for Food Scan calibration and chlorine checks as needed.
• Enforce the company's Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) program.
• Fill in for Chemistry Technician as needed.
• Full knowledge of running Food Scan and chemistry samples.
• Must be flexible with schedule to include filling in with second shift, start-up, and weekends.
Knowledge:
• Ability to learn and follow company rules, policies, and customer specifications.

• Must conduct oneself in a respectable, professional, and courteous fashion.

Job Summary:
We're seeking a battle-ready Quality Technician who can take the frontlines of our Quality Assurance efforts. This individual will ensure our products meet the highest standards in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing environment. You'll be key in supporting the quality control of metalworking processes like forging, casting, machining, and painting - all while maintaining battle-ready standards in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion a Quality-Driven Culture: Help instill a company-wide culture of Quality based on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Develop & Support QMS Processes: Assist in developing Quality Control processes for defense-grade steel forgings and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Conduct Audits & Enforce Standards: Lead process audits and enforce strict quality standards to maintain battle-ready products.
Crush Defects: Use RCCA tools (8D, 5-Why) to resolve defects and non-conformances swiftly and effectively.
Monitor SPC and inspection data to keep processes tightly controlled
Work hand-in-hand with Quality, Process, and Manufacturing Engineers to design and validate precise manufacturing processes.
Participate in Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and eliminate defects
Support Quality Engineers in addressing customer quality issues and requests with precision and urgency
Support the calibration program for measurement and test equipment
Be a key stakeholder in the Material Review Board (MRB) process, working with cross-functional teams in defect investigations and problem-solving efforts.
Assist shift Quality Supervisors and Quality Inspectors to maintain Quality Control standards
Required Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree or higher in a STEM discipline, or High School diploma plus significant experience, with ASQ or other technical certifications preferred
Experience: 3-5+ years experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in manufacturing environments; supported ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality system compliance and auditing; defense/ ammo / aerospace / complex manufacturing - assembly experience a plus
Technical Skills: Proficiency with RCCA tools (8D, 5-Why), SPC monitoring, and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Leadership/Work Style: Hands-on production Quality Technician, thrives under pressure, mentor and partner to production teams and Quality Supervisors
Soft Skills: Sharp communicator, proactive problem-solver, coach / mentor to production Quality Inspectors
Physical Requirements: Stand, walk, lift 50 lbs in a gritty shop with heat and noise
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of defense standards (e.g., MIL-STD, ITAR).
Familiarity with metallurgy for ferrous, non-ferrous, and super alloys.
Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) (e.g., ultrasonic, dye penetrant).
Six Sigma Green Belt or ASQ CQT / CQI certification
