Job Description
The Production Technician is responsible for performing routine tasks related to seed conditioning operations with a high degree of autonomy. This role involves applying established methods, systems, and procedures within a defined framework to provide direct production support and guidance to less experienced team members in the seed conditioning process.
Duties:
Independently perform well-defined routine tasks related to seed conditioning with minimal to no supervision.
Assist in the development and supervision of new and seasonal employees, providing guidance and training as needed.
Make routine daily decisions on process effectiveness and quality within the seed conditioning process.
Operate seed conditioning equipment independently, following established procedures for seed cleaning, sorting, and packaging.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to HSEQ standards and company policies.
Record production data accurately and assist in routine quality checks of seed batches.
Qualifications
2 years of manufacturing experience preferred; seed production experience is a bonus.
No formal qualifications required; on-the-job training provided.
Basic computer skills for data entry and using production systems.
Excellent ability to operate within defined processes while exercising independent judgment when needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours, and perform repetitive tasks.
Capability to routinely lift up to 65 lbs and move materials and equipment as required by the job.
This role involves working in a seed conditioning and packaging facility, which may include exposure to noise, dust, heat, and other environmental conditions.
Production facility setting with exposure to machinery and seed materials.
Adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Deliver weatherization auditing and inspection services in accordance with federal, state, local and utility standards. Perform occasional work involving installation of weatherization measures.
