Conduct regular quality control checks on chemicals and final products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Collect and analyze samples during production for testing and analysis purposes. Document and record production data including batch records, operating parameters, and test results. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, chemists, and maintenance technicians to troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize production processes. Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling and using cleaning agents and equipment. Metallurgical Laboratory (Met-Lab) Tasks: Prepare samples for metallurgical analysis using cutting, grinding, polishing, and etching techniques. Conduct metallurgical tests and examinations, such as microstructure analysis, hardness testing, and grain size measurement. Interpret and analyze metallurgical data to identify material properties, defects, and anomalies. Equipment and Inventory Management: Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and reliable performance. Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning agents, solvents, consumables, and spare parts. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance and repair activities. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to minimize hazards and risks in the MRO shop. The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and performing clean and strip operations on components used in engine overhaul, assembly, and testing. Assures compliance to all applicable regulatory agencies including USDA, FDA, Bureau of Weights and Measures, State and Local regulations. Maintains current HACCP plan of both USDA and FDA products.
