Brief Position Summary:
A Traffic Control Associate is responsible for helping manage traffic around active work zones for road construction and utility crews. They use a paddle with "Stop" on one side and "Slow" on the other to signal drivers to slow down, stop, or proceed through the area. Often working alongside a crew leader and other technicians, they coordinate traffic flow through communication, either via two-way radios or hand signals. In some cases, they may set up barricades, cones, vehicle placements, and other devices along the roadway to enhance safety. A Traffic ControlTechnician must possess a valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Their primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, workers, and themselves while on the road.
Essential Functions:
Maintain a consistent and unrelenting focus on safety throughout all job functions
Use traffic signals/signs, traffic plans, and customer requests to safely coordinate traffic flow around the work zone
Assist in managing day-to-day work zone set up, maintenance and tear down. Meeting or exceeding customer, state, federal regulations and company expectations
Communicate with customers, the public, and with other team members
Keep equipment in trucks well organized and in working order
Develop superior knowledge of work zone setup and Professional Flagging responsibilities
Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers. This includes on-time arrival and well managed work zones
Recognize dangers using hearing and vision
Handle stressful situations and take safe action to avoid serious injuries to any pedestrians, vehicles, customers, and employees
Follow company and state guidelines for effective, safe well managed work zones
Drive company trucks as needed

Duties Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Cath Lab Tech is to provide assistance with patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab (CCL) through the provision of technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team.
Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Sustains a high level of patient care by communication with the patients, families, and physicians and co-works to address the physical, general and psychosocial needs of the patient.
Functions under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
Assists cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, anticipating and obtaining catheters, wires and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practiced guidelines.
Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
Works effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
Promotes and maintains a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements
BSc Degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., aquatic toxicology) or related field preferred.
Environmental laboratory or industrial facility experience preferred; relevant education/experience combinations considered.
Ability to work independently in an industrial setting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
Perform a broad variety of basic and moderate complex tests in support of lab operations
Perform testing of routine and non-routine samples and documents according to cGMP
Perform routine lab and equipment maintenance
Troubleshoot and address any equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime
Prepare basic and complex reagents as assigned
Order and maintain lab supply inventory
Aliquot samples as required, including aseptic aliquoting
Receive and provide training
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor/manager to support Quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality control, and quality assurance, to address environmental monitoring-related issues and implement corrective actions

Purpose Statement

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

* Verifies that process controls, weight control, HACCP and finished product specifications are adhered to by regularly auditing procedures and paperwork daily.
* Assist R&D personnel to test and commercialize new products or changes to existing products, collect and send process data and product samples.

* Initiates holds of ingredients or finished products that do not meet Rich's product safety or quality requirements.
* Keeps informed of latest manufacturing technologies, systems, and quality control practices. * Participates in QA/TPM meetings to discuss quality and sanitation issues and opportunities for continuous improvement.

* Act as backup to Quality Floor Technician for vacation and weekend coverage on a regular basis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Degree in Biology, Food Science, Food Technology or related field; or five plus years' quality assurance experience in a food processing, pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing industry; or a combination in experience and education
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of quality assurance techniques and tools and quality management principles in a food manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrated knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations to include GMPs, HACCP, product and associate safety, and product quality.
* Demonstrated ability to train associates as well as plan, monitor and schedule tasks and projects
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
* Demonstrated ability to formulate and understand basic statistical analysis.
* Proficient and learning capability in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Minitab, and SAP.
* Willingness to work weekends and overtime when required.
* Capable of being certified in HACCP, PCQI, and as an SQF Practitioner.
