GovCIO is seeking a VA (Veteran Affairs) Mail Management Services (MMS) Quality Management System (QMS)/Data Analyst to support government digital services programs that facilitate conversion of submitted claims and supporting materials submitted by our Veterans, their beneficiaries, other providers, and Veteran Support Organizations. The selected candidate will work in a high-paced environment where large volumes of materials are processed and will help develop, implement, and monitor the processes necessary to maintain the desired and required high levels of quality. Our mission is to deliver the technologies, innovations, and processes necessary to transform governmental operations to better serve our Veterans.

Candidate will collaborate with MMS GovCIO Operations team to enable a stable/zero surprise operation. The candidate will manage production data to assure quality at the site product/production level and be able to roll up data for a contract view. The goal is to build the vision and execute towards predictive analytics for production and quality measurements. To be successful, candidate is an independent thinker and keen problem-solver. Candidate is expected to propagate the QMS and LSS message, identify and sense risk, diagnose issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide effective resolution recommendations.

Our ideal candidate is experienced with Quality Management Systems (QMS) to understand the importance of integrated quality to drive a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) initiative. Also, the candidate has experience with data analytics to support the production lean. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing/production or similar environment experience. In addition, the candidate is analytical, creative, and collaborative and has experience creating reports and PowerBI dashboards. Candidate pays attention to detail and takes the time to understand our data challenges.The candidate must be knowledgeable about production and quality metrics to collaborate with corporate and site production engineers, quality specialists and software development teams.
Responsibilities

Become familiar with the manufacturing process to investigate issues reported by stakeholders (e.g., VBAVACO) and MMS team site members. Sense and identify issues based on statistical analysis to support our QMS for Risks, Corrective Actions, Change Requests, documents, and training. Aggregate site data for an overall quality measure for analysis and reporting and participate in the development of reports and PowerBI dashboards. Collaborate with the MMS leadership to develop and improve processes to gather quality data. Provide daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc reports on specific operating results or activities as indicated by the MMS Program and Operations Quality managers. Recommend KPIs and develop reports to monitor adoption of and adherence to data management standards. Discover insights hidden in our data through advanced analytics and present findings to management. Ensure program activities comply with applicable government contract and regulations and company quality assurance standards. Be able to explain complicated or technical information to reach a non-technical audience during presentations and on dashboards. Support MMS Production Operations Engineers with research to resolve production or customer issues, as needed.


Qualifications


Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in data analytics or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma and certification a plus. Experience working with quality metrics, data analysis, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), SLAs (Service Level Agreements), etc. Solid analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to make decisions under pressure. Strongattentiontodetailand solid organizational skills. Experience with PowerBI or other dashboard business intelligence tools.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Ability to communicate on a technical and non-technical level. Experience working in a remote team environment is preferred. A team player with the ability to act independently but embraces collaboration. Excellent English writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Highly motivated individual who can keep pace with senior level engineers, quality, and corporate team members in a fast-paced environment. Job Description

The Quality Systems Co-op reports to a Quality Systems Analyst and helps support the quality assurance programs and systems designed to ensure outstanding business performance, design and manufacturing consistent with established standards by performing the duties listed below.

Position Main Responsibilities

Quality System Development, Deployment and Maintenance

• Helps monitor the status of work instructions and forms, with document owners as necessary, to ensure information is up to date

• Help review, catalog, and monitor automotive customer specific requirements

• Support improvement projects as needed (e.g., IATF 16949 deployment, customer specific requirements, etc.)

• Maintain local quality systems metrics monthly and manage actions when corresponding goals are missed.

• Provide QMS platform administrative support as needed (Doc Control, CAR/PAR, Internal Audit, PPAPs, GAGEPack etc.)

• Monitor the status of pending deliverables associated to Skyworks PPAPs

Corrective / Preventive Actions

• Responsible to monitor the status of Corrective Actions request in the organization.

• Facilitate access/guidance to users when issues are observed.

Personal Characteristics:

• Extremely well organized and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently

• Superior communications skills. Must be able to communicate and articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and, in writing

• Able to relate to individuals at different levels within the organization.
