The Radiation Oncology Technologist will administer radiation treatments and document appropriately. Performs quality assurance procedures per policy and monitors patients for potential reactions.

Required Skills

Required Experience
Education:



Graduate from accredited Radiotherapy program.

Previous experience in the operation of different types of treatment machines including megavoltage accelerator.

Position Overview

Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards. Duties may include reviewing prescription and diagnosis; acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and files.
