PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The RF Compliance Writer I is responsible for creating technical reports and associated deliverables for all wireless communication operators. These reports are written in accordance with FCC rules and regulations, local jurisdictional regulations (where known) and the requesting operator standard operational regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Analyze data collected by Field Technicians during site visits for correctness and completeness.
* Verify that the site visited is the correct site via use of mapping tools
* Comprehend job requirements after review of job notes in glebe
* Ensure that customer provided modeling data is appropriate for operators and technologies to be considered in the final report
* Antenna/Frequency Band identification from photos of antennas
* Carrier Identification from photographs taken by field techs and FCC database research
* Verification of existing RF signage based on site photos
* General understanding of MPE calculations with a focus on the impact of small aperture antennas on this calculation
* Determine a compliance verdict for the site based upon collected data and prescribed compliance guidelines
* Assemble final reports and associated accessory deliverables in accordance with applicable operational procedures (e.g. AT&T reports require RFSSR and RFSAP and Roofview deliverables)
* Place applicable custom explanations in the report and/or in the work flow tool regarding specific sites
* Respond to questions posed by the customer and/or company management regarding assembled reports
* Knowledge of Special customer report formats for large customers; Standard Sitesafe report; NIER report, etc.
* Achieve daily/weekly/monthly production and quality targets as assigned by management.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
* Other functions as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
* Knowledge of wireless communications industry preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Outlook, Excel)
* Proficiency in MS Visio is a plus
SOFT SKILLS
* Highly organized and detail oriented
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
* Superior time management skills; must be able to meet strict deadlines
* Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgement, and solve problems
