Qualifications What we're looking for: • Must be at least 21 years or older. • Valid non-commercial driver's license and safe driving record is required. • 1-3 years of B2B sales experience or equivalent is preferred. • Must be knowledgeable in basic computer and tablet skills and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. PURPOSE OF ROLE: The Product and Inventory Analyst is responsible for processing purchase orders and work orders, allocating and controlling inventory and calculating the margin. The Product and Inventory Analyst is responsible for the support of one of more Product Managers. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and proactivity to maintain inventory control and proper flow of information to the Export, Documentation and Transportation teams. This position works in close communication with the Operations Managers to fulfill the responsibility of maintaining the efficient flow of product through the Purchase and Sale processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Enter purchase orders in ERP system as instructed by the Product Manager. Relationship building and interaction with suppliers at multiple levels Updating purchase information into ERP system (dates, weights, rail car information and product information) to ensure accurate reporting information needed by Product Managers for product availability decisions. Send Inbound notification and packaging instructions to warehouses Communicate with A/P to coordinate payments for Cash in Advance and Cash against Documents purchases.
