The Assistant Operations Manager reports to the Fueling Operations Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary focus of the Assistant Operations Manager is to oversee the employees in the Fueling Department. This position is responsible for the coordination and evaluation of the fueling operations and may carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with PrimeFlight's and the Client's policies as well as applicable state laws.

Some responsibilities may include interviewing hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**Essential Job Functions:**

+ Responsible for fuel trucks, fuel farm, tugs, towing equipment and other related fuel service equipment.

+ Responsible for maintaining the highest level of safety. Additionally, training all fueling staff to the same standard.

+ Responsible for executing extremely high levels of customer service.

+ Responsible for all assigned fueling and towing activity

**Requirements:**

+ Must have at least 2 years of supervisory/manager experience

+ Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License (CDL and Hazmat endorsement strongly desired but not required)

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, and the client

+ Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives and implement in a safe, efficient manner

+ Follow oral and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties on a regular schedule; and maintain good working relationships with others

+ Ability to work without direct management supervision

+ Must be comfortable with working in all weather conditions, day, night and working outdoors.
