Rekor Systems CEO and leadership

Eyal Hen has served as our Chief Financial Officer since May 2019. Mr. Hen has more than 16 years’ experience as a global finance and business management executive in corporate environments. In his most recent role prior to joining Rekor with VAYA Pharma Inc. as CFO/COO, Eyal developed finance, tax and operational strategies including monthly reporting, forecasts and budgets for headquarters and stakeholders. Prior to VAYA, Eyal was at Ormat Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ORA) as Vice President of Finance and Administration. As part of his responsibilities at Ormat, Eyal oversaw all global financial reporting including SEC filing, US tax filing and global tax planning, and SOX compliance. He managed an annual budget of over $350 million while handling communication with investors, debtors, the board of directors and the company’s private equity partners. Eyal was a team member in project financing activities of more than $2 billion. He also was a key player with acquisitions at Ormat, overseeing more than $1 billion in grants awarded by the US government. Earlier in his career, Eyal was Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from Ben Gurion University (Israel), a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and is an Israeli certified public accountant (CPA).

Matthew Hill has served as our Chief Science Officer since March 2019. From June 2015 to March 2019, Mr. Hill led OpenALPR Technology, Inc., a software company he founded. From December 2010 to February 2016, Mr. Hill served as an Engineering Director for Riverbed Technology, Inc. From June 2005 to December 2010, Mr. Hill worked as an Applications Engineer for OPNET Technologies, Inc., which was subsequently acquired by Riverbed. Mr. Hill holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia.

Susan Crandall has served as our Chief Marketing Officer since March 2020. Ms. Crandall brings two decades of business experience in the data and technology field, holding leadership roles in business development, product development, market strategy and marketing at brands such as Motorola Solutions and LexisNexis. She has extensive experience as an early adopter in social media and digital marketing efforts and a track record of success in leading government and public relations initiatives. Additionally, Ms. Crandall brings a critical understand of a broad array of markets, including Government and Public Safety, Corporate Security, Financial Services, Insurance and Parking. Susan holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.

Chris Kadoch brings more than 25 years experience and a unique blend of technical and business expertise to the L-3 Mobile-Vision team. A physicist by education but an entrepreneur in practice; Chris emerged out of the DOD’s advanced R&D world several years back to hold executive positions within both Fortune 500 companies and small companies alike, always focusing on converting new technologies and/or new markets into revenue. He was the founder of one of the 1st digital video evidence management companies in this industry and has been a principle in several successful start-ups. While his technical expertise spans everything from stealth technology to digital evidence management (he holds several patents and has provided technical consultancy in both), his true strength is in his ability to optimally map technology into product and product into business as well as his passion for success.
