The Office of Applied Science Wildlife Research Team within the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is hiring an Assistant Human-Dimensions Research Scientist to join their Public Engagement Research Program. Join our Phase I Clinical Research Unit and gain hands-on experience in clinical trials. Work closely with nurses and coordinators to support study procedures and ensure participant safety. Key Responsibilities: * Perform vital signs, ECGs, and venipuncture. * Collect, process, and distribute biological samples per protocol. * Monitor participant meals for dietary compliance. * Prepare rooms and equipment for study procedures. * Accurately document research data and maintain confidentiality. * Assist with screening and quality control of study documents. * Ensure participant safety and respond to inquiries promptly. Requirements * High School Diploma required; CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT, or Bachelor's in Science/Healthcare preferred. * 0-2 years of experience in healthcare, science, or research. * Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred. * Knowledge of FDA, ICH, and GCP guidelines is a plus.
