The Morsani College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Allergy and Immunology, is seeking a full-time Open Rank Basic Scientist with a research interest in independent and collaborative research within the discipline of Allergy and Immunology (Asthma, Immunotherapy, Food Allergies, etc). Additional academic responsibilities will include advising and mentoring students in the development of scholarly projects; assessing, reviewing, and evaluating student educational activities and progress; and serving on university-wide, medical school, and/or departmental committees. The selected candidate will hold a full time tenure-track faculty appointment with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHUSOM), rank commensurate with experience (Assistant, Associate or full Professor). We are interested in candidates whose proposed research has broad relevance to the control of metabolism related to disease states with relevance to children's health.
