SUMMARY: The Process Operator plays a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant processes. Responsibilities include overseeing the startup, operation, and shutdown of assigned units in the Renewable Diesel Refinery, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental performance. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on safety and teamwork, willing to contribute to the ongoing success of our renewable fuel production. Participate in daily performance reporting (shift reporting) and utilize provided tools to monitor operational metrics (RDS). Collaborate with other operators and supervisors as directed to cross-train in various plant units. Recognize the need for and submit work orders; follow up with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is being addressed promptly. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving overall plant efficiency and sustainability goals. Actively participate in shift change meetings, providing information on activities, concerns, and any outstanding issues to ensure the oncoming shift is fully informed and prepared. Take samples of the product from various stages of the process at designated intervals, ensuring samples are properly collected, documented, and analyzed to maintain product quality and process control. Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions, promoting a respectful and innovative work environment.
