SUMMARY: The Process Operator plays a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant processes. Responsibilities include overseeing the startup, operation, and shutdown of assigned units in the Renewable Diesel Refinery, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental performance. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) policies and procedures, addressing any concerns promptly and adhering to safety procedures for equipment and chemical handling.
Operate and monitor various process controls and machinery, making adjustments as necessary to ensure the plant runs within performance limits and meets product quality standards.
Troubleshoot operating issues and work with the team to implement solutions, reporting any problems or performance changes to management.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency, safety, and quality standards, aligning with corporate and plant goals.
Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly by performing routine checks and coordinating minor repairs and preventative maintenance with the maintenance team.
Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, operating conditions, and any changes in process/equipment performance.
Participate in daily performance reporting (shift reporting) and utilize provided tools to monitor operational metrics (RDS).
Collaborate with other operators and supervisors as directed to cross-train in various plant units.
Recognize the need for and submit work orders; follow up with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is being addressed promptly.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving overall plant efficiency and sustainability goals.
Actively participate in shift change meetings, providing information on activities, concerns, and any outstanding issues to ensure the oncoming shift is fully informed and prepared.
Take samples of the product from various stages of the process at designated intervals, ensuring samples are properly collected, documented, and analyzed to maintain product quality and process control.
Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions, promoting a respectful and innovative work environment.
Ensure that work areas are kept clean and free of clutter to maintain safety, efficiency, and well-organized workspaces throughout the plant.

The Chief of the Capital Habeas Defender Office is responsible for the overall management of the office in partnership with the Deputy Capital Public Defender. Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will support the operation and maintenance of the biogas generation system (lagoon cover) and the biogas flare system for farms located in Ulysses, KS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain process equipment, including but not limited to blowers, flares, instrumentation, and controls.
Perform testing and analysis on lagoon performance.

SUMMARY: The Reliability Engineer is a key role within the Seaboard Energy Reliability Team. This position is responsible for practical application of codes and recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGAEP) in support of maintenance and capital projects, as well as development and execution of inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance plans for rotating equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the Reliability team and management to develop, implement, and maintain specifications, design best practices and guidelines, and reliability standards for the rotating equipment at all sites.
Accountable for the Mechanical Integrity Program for rotating equipment at all sites.
Provide technical support in project development, turnaround scope identification, commissioning, start-up and work activities on all equipment upgrades, repairs, and new installations for rotating equipment.
Apply engineering theory, practices, and principles to determine root cause failure analysis (RCFA) of equipment failures and performance evaluations of equipment and supporting systems; develop mitigation plans; prioritize and develop action plans for our reliability-centered maintenance system.
Analyze equipment trends, historical data, and field data to develop and adjust reliability programs to maximize asset reliability and production availability at the optimum cost of ownership.
Respond to site emergencies regarding critical equipment failures when maintenance expertise is not sufficient to address the situation.

This Certified Weld Inspector (Engineering Technician Specialist) position can be located at one of three locations: Shawnee/Kansas City Regional Materials Office, Wichita Regional Materials Office, or the Topeka Material Research Laboratory. This position will provide critical welding inspections at fabrication plants. Sample, test, and evaluate materials that will be used in KDOT construction projects.
