Roll Fed Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Pro Staff has an excellent opportunity! We are hiring a full-time, temp-to-hire, Machine Operator to join a plastic thermoforming manufacturer that specializes in concept design, prototyping, and production of food packaging, paint products, and custom heavy gauge plastic products for customers around the globe. Using advanced technology in plastic thermoforming, they identify, engineer, and produce superior components and innovative products.

2nd Shift: 1:40 PM - 10:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
Daily Job Duties:
- Responsible for the safety, training, direction, and performance of all production work cell personnel
- Proper startup, shut down, and operation of all equipment
- Performing troubleshooting and conducting minor repair of machines as needed and preventative maintenance
- Monitors, observes, and inspects equipment for damage or problems with operating parameters
- Let the right people know if there are issues that need attention
- Participates in teardowns and setups of thermoforming equipment
Keys to Success:
- Able collaborate with, develop, and support strong teams and willing and able to share technical knowledge and skills with others
- Possesses a strong mechanical proficiency and strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to successfully troubleshoot production and equipment issues
- Able to effectively manage time in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Ability to recognize product defects
- Able to read and comprehend work instructions, bills of manufacturing (BOMs), production schedule, and other production information
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating high-speed automated equipment and processes in a manufacturing environment and managing and meeting production goals

1. Load the wall grid: place the fabric rolls onto horizontal spindles (rods), with the assistance of a lift for the higher spindles.
2. Feed the machine: route all fabric from all the rolls into the "Pull Section".
3. Documentation: complete the paperwork verifying that you have used the correct fabric, lengths, and cuts.

Shifts Available -
-B shift Weekday (6PM to 6:15AM, M-Th) *0.75/hourly shift premium
-C shift Weekend (6AM to 6:15PM, Fri-Sun) *Work 36 hrs and get paid for 40 *$1.00/hourly perfect attendance bonus for perfect attendance weekly.
$1,500 Referral Bonus Details
$500 paid at 60 days, $1000 at 6 months and a paid day off. Must be in good standing to qualify. Bonus will be paid on the next full pay period once milestone has been reached.
