A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a Commercial Roofing Foreman, you oversee the restoration, removal, and replacement of various roofing systems. On the job site, you are responsible for supervising a team of 5 - 10 roofers and laborers, ensuring they follow company procedures and safety policies while producing work that meets our standards of excellence.

Supporting our company's commitment to continuing education, you train new crew members and stay up-to-date on all of the roof systems we use, including TPO, PVC, EPDM rubber, built-ups, Bitumen, and metal. You are in charge of keeping projects on budget and communicate proactively with clients. You are a capable, professional leader who sets the tone on every job site, and you get satisfaction from running a high-performing team!


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to pass a drug test upon hire
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, complicated saddle designs, and our instructions to follow client and manufacturer specifications
  • Able to demonstrate and follow our safety protocols as well as OSHA/ ANSI regulations and specific job site safety rules.

Purpose: Hands-on, lead a roofing crew in installation of new and existing, BUR, Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO, PVC, metal roof and steep slope systems.

  • Willing to work in at varying heights and weather conditions.
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis throughout the day.
  • Must be able to frequently ascend/descend ladder up to 40 feet.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work in varied extreme weather condition (extreme hot and extreme cold weather).
