Speed Global Services is looking for an EXPERIENCED Commercial Roofer to work on our commercial buildings year-round. This position involves working on various roofing projects, including installation, restoration, and maintenance of roofs on our various commercial properties around the Buffalo area. This position will also assist with installation of pallet racking, painting, building out rooms, flooring, and other building repairs as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role requires physical stamina and the capability to handle heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Duties and Responsibilities: Installation and repair of different types of roofing systems such as torch down, PVC, EPDM, sheet metal, and other forms of flat commercial roofing systems Ability to properly flash, make and install trim metal, repair roof drains Work with team members on other building maintenance projects such as Pallet racking installation of and fixing; Carpentry, Plumbing, and HVAC repairs Perform preventive maintenance inspections Safe operation of all tools of the trades (hand tools, power tools etc.) Following OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrating safe work practices.
