About This Position:As a carpenter for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial work. Our average work week is Monday - Friday, 07:00-3:30p, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As a carpenter, you may be tasked with the following: Install of shelving, bathroom fixtures and cabinetry Strong carpentry and cabinetry installation skills Willingness to unload material from trucks weekly and move material by hand up stairs Experience using various levels, tape measure and carpenter/speed square a must You may receive other responsibilities from your site supervisor. Be a safety champion and return home safely each day. Job Requirements:Must have 2-5 years of cabinet install experience Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and push and pull objects as required.Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach.Work at least 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.Ability to work well with others. Assist with the installation of products and services under supervision. Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to and from job sites. Enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs. Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
