Sales support supervisors manage the activities of a sales support team. They delegate tasks and organize the workload for the members of the support team to arrange logistical, administrative, and organizational assistance aiding the work of the team of sales representatives.

It will be your job to make sure the support team is operating on maximum efficiency and all customer requests are tended to in due time. You will attend sales meetings to discuss sales strategies, hire and train the people on your team, and make sure the IT infrastructure for sales support activities is functioning at top capacity.

A GED is enough to get you started on this path, provided you have ample experience in customer service roles. Having experience in a supervisor role will also be important here. An understanding of business processes such as shipping, billing, sales cycles, and accounting will be necessary. You must have excellent organizational and communication skills as well. Yearly salaries can be expected to reach $58,381 a year on average.
