Manage team of Sales Support Advocates providing telephone, fax and email support to internal and external customers. Work closely with field management to ensure accurate and timely solutions to merchants and field associates.
Summary of essential job functions
Responsibilities of support will include, but are not limited to: Work closely with servicing teams, internal departments and sales professionals in identifying and resolving issues. Partner with field staff management to assist with new merchant installations and provide guidance to new relationship managers. Identify improvements in efficiency, quality and productivity. Monitor performance of employees and coach or counsel appropriately. Handle escalated issues and assist support staff with escalated or more difficult issues. Complete and deliver performance reviews. Work with HR and Sales Support Manager on employee issues (disciplinary actions, employee moves, etc).

Prerequisites
The Sales Support Supervisor position requires 2+ years of leadership experience. Extensive knowledge of processes and procedures within the bankcard industry is preferred.Previous Management experience is preferred. This position utilizes knowledge typically associated with a four-year degree or a combination of formal training and relevant work experience.

Environment
Work under limited supervision. Work is varied but typically is in an office environment. Work is related to difficult problems that may require extensive analysis to solve. Overtime may be required based on department needs.
