Internal Controls Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Controls Manager to join our dynamic Finance & Accounting team. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of the Company's internal controls over financial reporting. This position is in our Palo Alto, California office.
In this role, you will engage in the following:
Lead the Company's internal controls compliance and risk assessment efforts across key financial and operational processes ensuring public company readiness
Update internal controls documentation, risk control matrix, and flowcharts, and evaluate controls on new systems or process changes
Develop preventive and detective controls to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy
Design test plans, scoping, document control performance and results, execute remediation plans, and provide SOX recommendations to strengthen controls
Assist with the review of third-party SOC 1 reports
Collaborate with control owners, operational groups on process enhancements and partner with IT to evaluate IT general controls (ITGCs) and automate business process controls (ITACs)
Educate stakeholders by providing guidance on best practices, risk and awareness on SOX compliance requirements
Serve as the main point of contact on internal controls with external auditors and build strong working relationships with stakeholders to facilitate the audit process
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and proactively prepare the Company for its future state as a public company
Perform assigned projects or ad hoc duties as required
Essential Requirements:
6+ years of SOX or internal audit experience, ideally with both public company environment and a Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm
Strong understanding of governance and internal control regulations including COSO
Proven track record of designing, implementing and monitoring internal controls
Strong project management skills and the ability to drive accountability in a cross-functional environment
A can-do attitude and a drive for high performance with an exceptional work ethic
Ability to manage and execute multiple projects
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred)
Compensation and Benefits:

Outside Sales Executive - Healthcare
Job Summary:
The position is responsible for marketing and ‘selling in' various patient engagement and educational digital programs within a selected territory/region to both current clients and new physician offices, specialty provider groups, and health systems. Travel will be required.
What You'll Do:
Creatively execute sales activities for assigned territory to meet business objectives.

What We Need:
Bachelor's preferred degree or equivalent professional sales experience

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Desired Qualifications:
Experience selling into provider medical practices is desired

Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) will be responsible for managing multiple aspects of clinical trials. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare essential clinical study documents, including informed consent forms and source documents.
Assist with the initiation and set-up of clinical trial sites.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation required throughout the clinical study lifecycle.
Conduct regular site monitoring visits to oversee data collection and ensure strict adherence to study protocols.
Review and validate collected data for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with source documentation.

Qualifications:

In this role, you will:
Provide support and direction for systems and assemblies from the development phase through ongoing production.
Provide documentation and technical support for suppliers, assemblers, and final test technicians.
Train assemblers and technicians in new processes and procedures.
Develop, maintain, and upgrade work instructions and engineering drawings.
Participate in workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements planning with the Operations team.
Responsible for improving and maintaining processes used in manufacturing surgical and aesthetic medical laser products.
Plan and schedule equipment maintenance and repair services.
Participate in new product development and design reviews, ensuring design for volume manufacturing is achieved.
Define and execute projects aimed toward product and process improvements.
Develop and implement innovative systems to optimize production efficiency - i.e., equipment upgrades, automation, changes to product flow, etc.
Ensure QA and regulatory requirements are followed and met by the suppliers and the production staff, as well as recommend improvements in the quality system.
Provide data on key performance indicators. Drive data-based improvements.
Work with vendors and internal staff on product improvements and problem-solving.
Take an active role in product cost reduction programs.
Provide informal leadership to the production, planning, and purchasing staff.
Essential requirements for the role:
Five (5) years of direct experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
BS in Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a medical environment and knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements.
Knowledge of the QSR documentation system, ISO 9000, and Solid Works is preferred.
Experienced with fixture/tooling design and implementation, BOM and MPI creation, change, and maintenance.
Leadership and team building skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability.
