We are looking for a digital marketing star to lead & grow our paid search channel with a focus on performance and profitability. You will be responsible for the company's search vision, strategy and execution, while also helping develop NetSpend's digital marketing stack through industry thought leadership.
What You'll Do
Paid Search Management - Responsible for strategy, execution and measurement of paid search campaigns for NetSpend and partner branded programs. Review daily, weekly, monthly performance trends and direct optimization activities. Oversee SEM budget pacing and media efficiency ensuring volume goals are met.Full Funnel Management - Own the strategy and execution for the full marketing lifecycle from campaign ideation, creative execution, media acquisition, landing page optimization, product order flow optimization, and paid remarketing Testing - Whether we are testing copy, landing pages or tactics, we are always looking for ways to improve performance and will call on this person to provide more bandwidth and rigor in this area. Additionally, this person will help to formulate new audiences to test.Optimization -Success in this role will require leveraging self-service management tools, analyze campaign performance by integrating front and back end metrics, and identifying areas of opportunity and risk. You will need to be able to translate these analyses into actionable tactics.Budgeting and forecasting - Live, breathe and own your numbers. Work with the Digital Team and Account Managers to provide paid search budgeting guidance along with forecasted KPIs including CPA and Order targets. Manage weekly updates to internal performance reporting documents and monthly updates to the marketing forecast. Strategic Roadmap - Aid in the research and discovery of new marketing technologies and tools that will help us scale our digital marketing programs.Competitive Analysis - Leverage enterprise class web tools to provide regular updates on the competitive landscape Executive Presentations - Develop and present channel summaries for leadership, identifying key areas of opportunity and risk. When appropriate develop and present investment business cases for areas of growth and innovation.

VMLY&R Commerce is searching for an exceptional SEM Manager to lead paid search efforts on growing accounts! In this client facing role, you will craft the long-term SEM strategy while engaging in direct optimizations.

What your success will look like

* Plan and Buy Paid Search across a variety brands in both search engines & across retailer platforms
* Creating media objectives and strategies for SEM campaigns
* Own and Manage SEM campaigns
* Keyword Research and Ad Copy Development
* Manage and maintain SEM budgets or SEM spend summaries
* Track and analyze campaign data to optimize in service of client goals
* Pull data and consolidate insights for media reports for the clients
* Present the results reports to internal stake holders as well as clients
* Optimize and Manage campaigns for achievement of KPIs, budgets and deadlines
* Conduct forecasting for annual and monthly client budgets
* Proactively work with cross-functional teams to build and deliver client reporting
* Stay current with new advances in search engine marketing and the competitive landscape & ensure best practice and innovation in all paid search activities
