As you know, medicine is tough , especially primary care. May maintain and repair heavy construction equipment. Performs other such related duties as may be assigned. Experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repair work. Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent, supplemented by technical courses in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Knowledge of motor vehicle. Maintenance, of repair techniques, and of safety practices and principles. Skill in the use of tools and equipment. Ability to follow instructions, to make repairs, and to use tools and equipment. The ability to communicate in English and Spanish is preferred. Requires a certification from the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence or ability to obtain within the first year of employment. Texas Motor Vehicle Safety Inspector license and Texas Certified Tow Operator preferred. Requires a valid Texas Commercial driver's license or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
