The Role

As Securities Counsel, you'll join Palantir's in-house legal team as the legal backbone of our corporate and securities team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to join a team that cultivates Palantir's equity philosophy, connects with folks across the Palantir community, and sees itself as key to Palantir's mission.

As a specialist, you will help advise and work on a variety of corporate and securities issues and transactions, while interacting directly (and frequently!) with our Chief Legal and Business Affairs Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and company leadership. You will work closely with our finance and stock administration teams on equity matters and administration. You will take on novel, complex issues as they arise, and bring multi-stepped projects to completion. You will also be a key contributor to the legal team and to the company as a whole, with the opportunity to work on a wide array of legal matters, including negotiating commercial agreements with Fortune 50 companies and working on regulatory, intellectual property, employment, and international issues.
Core ResponsibilitiesAdvise on a range of complex equity and securities issues.Help manage public company filings and related internal processes.Assist with a variety of corporate and securities transactions, including M&A and other strategic investments.Work on corporate governance matters for Palantir and our subsidiaries and joint ventures.Assist in management and administration of Palantir's equity portfolio.

Location: Concord, MA - MCI-Concord. This position will be for the Secure Adjustment Unit program and will work with incarcerated adult males. This is a locked facility with a strict dress code and other policies.
Pay rate: $46,000 annually

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours. Monday-Friday. Possibility of one night shift (12:00 PM-8:00 PM) in the future.

The Counselor for the Secure Adjustment Unit program is responsible for:

* Assessing and evaluating inmate needs.
* Monitoring inmate compliance with all program and Massachusetts Department of Correction (MA DOC) rules and regulations.
* Facilitating classes and group sessions as defined by curriculum and according to Spectrum Health Systems standards.
* Maintaining records in accordance with Spectrum and MA DOC policies and procedures.
* Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, conferences and other meetings as directed.
* Providing case management services as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree/Master's degree or equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education, or closely related field required.
* Previous experience with incarcerated population a plus.
* Based on a mandate from Massachusetts Department of Corrections, any Spectrum employee working in a MA DOC facility or pursuant to the MOUD Contract must be fully vaccinated and no exemptions are permitted.
