As a member of the COLOSSUS Enterprise Planning and Management team, you will support our customer as a Records Manager. The COLOSSUS team provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for our customer's strategic planning, enterprise architecture, investment planning, policy and governance functions, in addition to general SETA support to government leadership teams. You will work with team members from across government, FFRDC, and SETA teams to perform activities in support of the customer's responsibilities for Federal Records Management. The successful candidate will:
- Understand federal government and customer policy regarding records management compliance requirements and use relevant skills in project and data management and records analysis to translate findings into strategic and tactical recommendations.
- Identify organizational and enterprise information requirements; determine data components and data sources; determine communication requirements; determine information processing requirements; determine information access and control requirements (to include privacy); determine security classification for information; ensure document/records management requirements are properly implemented.

The incumbent will primarily support the Division Chief. S/he is expected to intuitively translate incoming requests and indirect requirements into achievable goals; s/he will create systems and processes through which objectives are met in a timely manner and with the highest quality. The incumbent will coordinate all activities of the Division Chief in liaison with other members of the Division and the Department at large.
Duties include:
- Act on behalf of the supervisor, and chief in regards to establishing priorities and identifying and resolving problems that are administrative in nature.
- Oversee and/or perform duties associated with scheduling, organizing, and operating complex conferences, seminars, and events, including arranging with vendors for services, overseeing the production and distribution of materials, administering logistics, and managing events within budget.
- Compose and draft documents and correspondence for presentations, course handouts, grants, conferences, seminars, and reports; perform substantial editing and fact checking.
