Job Description

Job Summary
The Sr Financial Analytics Analyst is responsible for creating and managing reports, analysis, and processes that support the Accounting, Finance, and Treasury business units. This role relies on a strong business knowledge as well as data collection and manipulation skills to translate business needs into reporting and analysis.

Job Duties
Partner with business unit leaders and other stakeholders to provide reporting and analytics to create efficiencies, identify potential challenges, ensure accuracy, and gauge performance.Develop analytics regarding loan performance, including delinquency, prepayment, and loss mitigation. This includes identifying key drivers and actionable insights.Manage on-demand (ad hoc) reporting requests from the business units in order to support the changing needs of the business. Actively contributes to the utilization of reporting tools, technical skills/abilities and improve business knowledge.Provide guidance and direction to lower level analysts while ensuring processes conform to company standards.Contribute to the continued development of report automation. This will include identifying and supporting process improvement opportunities.Other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience
College degree in a job related field, or equivalent experience.Six (6) or more years of similar experience in an analytics or reporting role.Automobile lending experience is preferred.Advanced proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL/SAS, and Data Mining/compiling.Ability to use appropriate analysis, judgment, and logic when solving issues, providing recommendations and making decisions.Quantitative skills, with ability to analyze detailed statistics, and summarize findings.Ability to apply industry knowledge and critical thinking skills while solving day-to-day problems.Strong analysis and reporting skills.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Advanced problem solving skills.High competency with reporting tools and metrics.

**About this role:**

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support the Small Business Banking balance sheet and revenue forecasting process for the lending portfolio. While providing key support for the portfolio, this role provides end-end process exposure and knowledge of Small Business Banking loans. As liaison to various partner teams, it offers development opportunities for future banking or corporate functions.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Execute balance sheet and revenue quarterly forecasts, related CCAR and Mid-Year Financial Assessment forecasts and Resolution Planning for Small Business Banking lending products

+ Deliver insightful analytics for underlying impacts of balances/revenue trends

+ Demonstrate intellectual curiosity with appropriate skepticism to review/challenge/enhance current processes; take ownership of same

+ Ensure accuracy/timeliness of deliverables, establish controlled processes, support ongoing strategic initiatives/process improvements

+ Build strong relationships with Small Business Finance team and other key stakeholders, including Small Business Banking, Corporate Finance/Enterprise Risk Group/Risk Modeling Group

**Required Qualifications:**
