LRF is dedicated to finding a cure for lymphoma, the most common form of blood cancer, by funding biomedical research and supporting the next generation of lymphoma researchers. *About the Opportunity*

LRF seeks a talented and experienced professional to join as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. The position is based in the LRF New York City office and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Foundation staff are working remotely; when the office re-opens it is expected that all New York-based staff will work in the office.

The Foundation is at an important and exciting stage in its organizational history, having grown and evolved in recent years under new leadership. The Senior Director of Marketing and Communications will bring the skills and expertise that support the continued advancement of the LRF mission. Toward that end, the Senior Director is the primary strategist overseeing the planning, development and execution of integrated marketing and communications plans across the Foundation. The Senior Director oversees data analysis and related strategy to ensure brand consistency and alignment throughout the organization and engagement with the Foundation's key constituencies (including patients, survivors, caregivers, health care providers scientists, donors, and corporate supporters).

*Key Responsibilities*

* Serves as a member of the LRF leadership team, responsible for the shared execution of the Foundation's mission, contributing to the strategic vision and implementation of organization-wide goals
* Leads the four-person Marketing and Communications Department and a cadre of vendors to drive a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that supports the strategic goals of the organization
* Leads analysis and reporting of organization constituency and key performance indicators
* Designs and implements the Foundation's strategic communications plan, incorporating clearly defined goals and defining the audience and tactics across programs and campaigns

*Qualifications*

**Summary**

We are seeking an experienced brand marketing and communications specialist with a strong 15+ years background in CPG branding, shopper marketing, product development, communications and public relations.

The director will lead the growth and development of an emerging all-natural pork and beef brand that sells products such as fresh pork, bacon, hot dogs, sausage, etc. at retail, e-commerce and foodservice channels nationwide. Managing a small, remote team you will have a hybrid work environment with a schedule that balances work from home and in office time. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The position can sit in Westminster, CO or Chicago, IL.

**Marketing Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Own and direct the brand management positioning and various elements for the entire Coleman Natural portfolio

+ Develops and implements annual long-term strategic business plans for assigned businesses including all objectives, strategies and tactical considerations

+ Achieves volume and profit goals, brand imagery, brand share and other objects set forth in fiscal year Marketing Plan

+ Develop a focused annual plan each year that you will champion to direct and execute our media relations strategies for both consumer and trade audiences

+ Develop and execute the shopper marketing strategy and campaign execution and manage and direct our internal team and the various vendors we partner with

**Minimum Education and Experience**

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; 15+ years of prior experience and growth in CPG marketing and/or communications space. Experience working within the meat/protein specific industry is a plus. MBA is preferred.
