As a Senior Trader at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you are here to help us create an entertaining betting proposition that appeals to Fanatics customers. Reporting into one of the Directors of Trading, you will play an integral role in the Trading team, as well as the wider Fanatics Betting & Gaming. We are looking for an experienced trading expert, who strives to improve the customer experience with everything they do.

**Summary**

Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a **Senior Ingredient Trader** . This position will be responsible for trading designated ingredients profitably and meeting plan targets established jointly with leadership. The incumbent is expected to expand the ingredient mix, geography traded and grow end user relationships to maximize profitability. It is also expected that the incumbent will have a vision to articulate a 1-3 year growth strategy with specific goals for execution and measurement.

**Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Negotiate the purchase and/or sale of assigned commodities.

+ Manage trading positions, inventories, and forward positions to minimize risk and maximize profitability.

+ Identify market trends and positions assigned to maximize profitability.

+ Arrange credit and collection terms for customers.

+ Ensure all purchases, sales, and trades comply with existing treasury guidelines, recommendations, and Company policies.

+ Prospect and develop new trading customers.

+ Provide logistical support and customer service for established customers to ensure all customer requirements are attained.

+ Develop long-term strategic plans to ensure growth and profitability.

+ Provide training and mentoring to junior traders.

**Minimum Education**

BS Degree (Agriculture, Business Management or Accounting)

**Experience Requirements**

10+ years of trading experience. Understanding of cash commodity markets. Understanding of all aspects of the trading business i.e. purchase, sale, transportation, logistics (truck, rail, container, vessel), accounts receivable and position risk. Experience and responsibility with income statements and balance sheets. Understanding of standard software applications. Strong math, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.

**Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements**

_Normal climate controlled office environment. Able to communicate on the telephone or video conferencing media and use standard office equipment. Able to move freely throughout the facility. Required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities and other customer locations._

Directly responsible for hedging and trading financial instruments to manage the interest rate risk of the mortgage pipeline. Buy, sell and trade approved derivatives that minimize loss of mortgages loans while in the AFS pipeline. Engage directly with Wall street firms and financial institutions to execute trades. Consult with Interest Rate Risk Manager for strategic hedging goals, limits and activities. Work directly with Pipeline Financial Analyst in analyzing best execution criteria in order to maximize gains. Consult with Loan Delivery on expectations and timing around investor allocations.

Perform daily hedging activities to include utilizing QRM MB system to measure the interest rate risk and report to management daily hedge position and risk limits.

Work directly with QRM Pipeline Analyst to review assumptions and provide detailed analysis around any and all model inputs that drive hedging decisions and best execution models

Develop and monitor risk limit and hedging performance metrics to include testing hedge strategies and performance
Work with QRM analysts and Model Validation on assumption and model reviews




Qualifications
Minimum Required:




7+ years of direct mortgage banking experience and/or brokerage finance and trading with knowledge of mortgage banking process functions, financial markets and sources.
Knowledge of Capital Markets within a mortgage banking entity required.
Prior mortgage pipeline hedging experience required







Preferred:




Prior experience using the QRM risk mgmt. framework
Expert SQL skillset
Experience building processes and analytics using VBA and/or Python
Experience with light statistical modelling and manipulation of large datasets





Thorough understanding of fixed income duration and convexity dynamics
Thorough understanding of fixed income cash flows/valuation, specifically with respect to Agency RMBS
Thorough understanding of pipeline fallout modelling and pull-through drivers
Familiarity with MSR risk profiles and valuation drivers
Familiarity with TBA relative value analysis and technical drivers
Fundamental grasp of how global capital market dynamics interplay with UST/MBS valuations
Experience managing complex hedge portfolios consisting of TBA, Treasury futures/options, swaps/swap futures, MBS pool forward sales and Eurodollar futures is preferred
Ability to build analytics explaining pipeline dynamics such as pull through effectiveness, hedge ratio performance
