Redbox senior inventory analyst job description

The Senior Inventory and Operations Analyst provides the ongoing analysis, optimization, and reporting of Redbox inventory strategies and kiosk merchandising/servicing processes. This position plays a key role in defining metrics, identifying opportunities, and communicating reports to Redbox Leadership and field teams. The Senior Inventory and Operations Analyst also provides guidance and leadership to Analysts on the team, helping to ensure all work on the team is of the highest quality. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities



Lead analyses on projects targeting improved accuracy of product allocation, increased merchandising efficiency, and more effective kiosk servicing across all business lines Develop actionable insights/recommendations on key merchandising and service strategies to present to department and corporate leadership Provide regular reporting to Operations leaders via presentations and dashboards Partner with BI, Finance, and Merchandising and Service organizations to develop meaningful reporting/dashboards to drive improved merchandising and servicing decisions Develop and test new merchandising models/algorithms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine necessary actions and metric adjustments, including Field Operations, Machine Support, and Finance leadership Participate in cross-functional teams and build relationships with key internal business partners Act as a key business partner with the Business Intelligence team, contributing to the vision and driving requirements to continuously improve Redbox Operations data and processes



Education & Experience



Bachelor's degree in a related field required 3+ years of directly applicable experience in an analytical role in a consulting, corporate operations, or entrepreneurial environment



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

The position is generally assigned those systems containing the highest level of scope and responsibility within Materiel Management. All provisioning activities will be based on economic formulas and established procedures.

• Maintaining optimal quantities of parts, units, and supplies to support assigned maintenance shops and/or aircraft or general supplies systems.

• Ethically maintain the minimum inventory necessary to meet Materiel Management's service objectives to Maintenance.

Job Summary

The Senior Inventory and Supply Analyst will be responsible for creation and maintenance of an efficient and effective Master Production Schedule (MPS) across multiple work centers. The role is also responsible for ensuring the support of that MPS with material procurement, including packaging and chemicals. The Senior Inventory and Supply Analyst will be a key contributor to business unit success through strategic collaboration with suppliers, as well as being an active participant in cross-functional teams to reduce costs - inventory, obsolescence, labor, etc.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) for multiple work centers that optimizes manufacturing efficiency while meeting customer service level metrics and is aligned with inventory plan.
* Manage procurement of materials to support MPS, which includes high levels of collaboration with several key suppliers, understanding and mitigating supply chain capacity constraints, and tactically executing system processes to ensure efficiency and reliable internal and external performance metrics.
* Coordinate with procurement the weekly/monthly calls with key vendors to ensure there is alignment on the forecast, a review of PO adherence and focus on the open purchase activity.
* Plan and execute component transition process in accordance with project timelines and minimal obsolescence expense.
* Analyze results from systematically optimized plan (advanced planning tools via APO PPDS) - understand business impact, then develop and implement strategies to continually minimize delays and costs.
* Work closely with the supply, operations, procurement teams on associated risks to delivering the supply plan (both tactical and strategic plans).
* Support the BU Supply Consensus plan for the business to ensure the inputs/outputs flow, key decisions and actions are captured and being performed.
* Understand highly seasonal, weather-driven pace of product lines and strategic approach needed depending on relative position to business peak time of year.
* Partner with 4ward team on implementation of SAP IBP and S4/Hana.
* Support the function and business with adhoc requests as needed.

Education and Experience Profile

* Bachelor's degree is required.
* +5 years of experience in supply chain planning within a large, global business environment is required.
* Experience with seasonal consumer product goods is preferred.
* Prior SAP experience in IBP/APO/SNP/PPDS environments is highly preferred.
