As a Sr. Development Product/Test Engineer you will be a part of a development team for new mixed signal products in our Magnetic Sensor portfolio. You will be a key person in design, development, and implementation of test and characterization solutions for a given product. You will act as the central test resource as products move through the development cycle all the way into high volume production. You will be a key representative of test in an interdisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities include
Design of new methods to establish product performance and ensure testability Definition of test and validation plan to reach the target test coverage and test time Development, debugging and documenting complex test software and hardware for ATEParticipation in new design troubleshooting and providing recommendations to the rest of the team Analysis of test and characterization data, including statistical analysis Test program optimization and robustness studies Knowledge transfer to manufacturing engineering Results analysis during reliability studies

Qualification and requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 5 years of related experience, ideally involving IC the test Working knowledge of analog/digital circuit design Knowledge of lab equipment Experience of software development, ideally C/C++ATE experience, Teradyne ETS preferable

YOUR ROLE

Develops new thermal interface materials for automotive applications. Manages technical aspects of product development projects within stage gate system in conjunction with professional project manager. Provides technical expertise in adhesive chemistries, polymer network physics, highly filled suspension rheology, and/or resin cure chemistry. Translates customer and market feedback into technical specifications and develops product formulations and applicable data packages for specific customers and general market. Demonstrates hands-on attitude with desire to invent materials and processes that change the technology landscape. Builds prototype samples using processes for spray coating, web-handling and liquid coating/patterning. Analyzes material properties in conjunction with local and global Henkel Analytical team. Assesses logistical requirements to successfully complete projects and plan accordingly. Provides work direction to technicians and/or Associate Engineers/Scientists working on the projects under his/her leadership. Reads and interprets patents, examines new product concepts and technology, and determines how to improve or utilize technology. Generates intellectual property in the form of patents, trade secrets, and formulation know-how. Contributes actively to a safe work culture by applying and contributing to safety procedures and lab safety systems. Participates and presents papers at conferences, serves in professional committees.



YOUR SKILLS


Education •Ph.D in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields and a minimum of 5 years in research and development, or B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields with a minimum of 10 years of R&D related experience.Experience Fundamental understanding of heat transfer materials and thermal interface products. Broad based knowledge of polymer science, including polymer chemistry, structure property relationships, rheology, bulk and adhesive mechanics of soft materials. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge MS Office, Labview, Autocad or solid drawing programs and other common technical software packages.

Support one or multiple projects within the product development group delivering innovative solutions to clinical problems. Lead the development team members including surgeon consultants and internal team members. Conform to company quality and compliance policies while maintaining a high quality of work.

What skills you'll need?
