We are currently seeking a Sr. OTA Test & Validation Engineer to join our Software Quality team. This role will specifically focus on OTA validation. The ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination.
The Role:Design, development, and testing of software and components in the automotive domain Design, develop and build vehicle validation test cases Create and execute test strategies based on requirements Perform analysis and create comprehensive test reports based on testing results and record and track software bugs to closure Work cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities for product integrity and user experience Drive a validation of high quality, high performance, and product ready software Collect and analyze customer configuration, and deployment information Collect relevant data and debug to find the root cause
Qualifications:5+ years of automotive embedded testing experience Good knowledge of microcontroller architecture, memory layouts, device drivers, compiler and debugger Hands-on experience in UDS, CAN and Ethernet protocols Hands-on experience on UDS flashing commands Hands-on experience in Automotive testing tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, CANstress, WireShark
PreferredKnowledge in python and/or any scripting language Familiar with Linux platform Experience in in-vehicle validation
Education: Bachelor or Masters in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields

Barbaricum is seeking a Sr. Assessment & Authorization Validator to support the Naval Surface Warfare Crane Division with enterprise-wide Information Technology support services. This program facilitates existing and future capabilities and initiatives across Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, and Command, Control, and Communications (C3) modernization goals aligned to NSWC's core charges of Electronic Warfare, Expeditionary Warfare, and Strategic Missions supporting a customer base that includes the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and US Special Operations Command.

ResponsibilitiesMust have extensive knowledge and experience with RDT&E and Business IT systems and the phases of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process. Experience in an IA or C&A related field is preferred. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all C&A subject areas with in-depth familiarity and understanding of Navy IT sites, systems and infrastructure; applies Navy C&A guidance to Navy C&A efforts. Experience working with Navy C&A efforts as a Navy Validator. Must have strong writing skills to develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP), Contingency Plans, Privacy Impact Assessments, Certification Reports, Accreditation Reports, Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), and other C&A documentation. Must have strong oral and written communication skills to work closely with all levels of personnel involved in IT operations and technical aspects of systems.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• 10 or more years of experience with power electronics test, characterization, validation, and/or applications
• Experience with multi-chip power module design and assembly processes
• Experience with static, dynamic/switching, and thermal characterization of SiC power devices
• Thorough understanding of power circuit topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC) and their application in industry (experience with automotive industry a plus)
• Understanding of power MOSFET and diode device theory
• Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout
• Must be able to manipulate data using statistical analysis software (e.g., JMP, Minitab, etc.)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and personal relationship skills
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of efficiently tracking large amounts of data from numerous products simultaneously
• Ability to lead a project from the initial concept phase all the way through to implementation
• Ability to use critical thinking to make sound decisions. Must be a hands-on self-starter with the ability to drive projects working independently and/or collaboratively within a team
• Driven to mentor Junior Engineers and help grow internal talent
