We are currently seeking a Sr. OTA Test & Validation Engineer to join our Software Quality team. This role will specifically focus on OTA validation. The ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination.
The Role:Design, development, and testing of software and components in the automotive domain Design, develop and build vehicle validation test cases Create and execute test strategies based on requirements Perform analysis and create comprehensive test reports based on testing results and record and track software bugs to closure Work cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities for product integrity and user experience Drive a validation of high quality, high performance, and product ready software Collect and analyze customer configuration, and deployment information Collect relevant data and debug to find the root cause
Qualifications:5+ years of automotive embedded testing experience Good knowledge of microcontroller architecture, memory layouts, device drivers, compiler and debugger Hands-on experience in UDS, CAN and Ethernet protocols Hands-on experience on UDS flashing commands Hands-on experience in Automotive testing tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, CANstress, WireShark
PreferredKnowledge in python and/or any scripting language Familiar with Linux platform Experience in in-vehicle validation
Education: Bachelor or Masters in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields

ResponsibilitiesMust have extensive knowledge and experience with RDT&E and Business IT systems and the phases of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process.
