Create and respond to internal ticket entries to track status of web design tasks within one hour after notification. Create detailed deployment requests to facilitate the movement of completed projects to the production environment. Perform HTML/ASPX website modifications to include link and graphic updates. Develop and maintain a standardized brand for DAIIS, throughout the assigned network web sites in accordance with the DAIIS Style Guide. Create custom HTML/ASPX pages for use within DAIIS hosted IIS and SharePoint site collections. Establish locatability by registering DAIIS sites with search engines. Design images, icons, and banners to be utilized on DAIIS sites. Provide web design support for integration into SharePoint, INSCOM Web Sites, and the Corporate System Architecture (CSA) applications. Ensure DAIIS-hosted sites adhere to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Develop and incorporate mandatory fields of the DNI Audit.XML specification in accordance with ICS-500-27 Collection and Sharing of Audit Data.

Qualifications:

• DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification
• Five years of web site design experience
• Three years of experience in development of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SWL, graphics creation with Photoshop, Illustrator (Adobe Creative Suite) or similar; multimedia creation with Flash, SharePoint Designer
• Three years of experience with ASP, PHP, JavaScript, XML, Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server, Windows Server environments
• TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance
• Web Design training certificate Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) – Windows Server Administration Fundamentals (Server) Certification is recommended

The CMH Program encompasses multiple projects that will establish a digital, searchable, scalable, computing environment that in its entirety will make up the Army Historical Digital Data (AHDD) system. Responsibilities



Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements. Establish design guidelines, enforce site content standards, and contributes to the design group's efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization's online offerings. Designs the website to support the organization's strategies, goals, and branding relative to client's external communications. Requires understanding of web-based technologies and thorough knowledge of United States Web Design System (USWDS), Website content management, HTML, WordPress, Illustrator, and/or other design-related applications. Experience configuring, implementing, and using Web Content Management Systems is a must. Develops, codes, tests, and debugs new software and enhancements to existing web software. Use data analytics in making design decisions and maintain a database of design assets. Competent to work on fairly complex programs. Supports the following project/initiatives: Army.Mil (CMH Public Facing Website) and Social Media Platforms; Document, implement, maintain, and integrate the Government selected/provided test information or content to History.Army.Mil (CMH Public Facing Website) and Social Media Platform. Lead assessment, implementation, configuration, and migration of legacy public web site to a Content Management System (CMS).


Qualifications



Possess at least ten years of documented proven experience in Web Design. Have a bachelor's degree in a Software Development related field of study. Be detail-oriented with a keen focus on quality and continuous improvement. Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism through written and verbal communication when presenting products and briefs to senior level management and stakeholders within the CMH. Have ability to interpret business objectives and successfully incorporate those objectives. Be physically located onsite at Fort McNair as required by the client. Some days may be remote. Job Summary

The position requires proficiency to work on a broad range of front-end web design projects and digital advertising. Candidate must possess exceptional design skills using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), responsive web design and Photoshop. Core competencies should include information architecture and user experience design.

• Responsible for digital content, design layouts and templates for web and email. Create animated and static ads, using typography, icons, photography, and other graphics, to maintain and enhance 92NYs Internet presence and online advertising for external websites.
• Research, create and optimize graphics and web pages using mobile and desktop best practices.
• Maintain database and filing system for projects and images used online.
• Work with internal stakeholders, including marketing and creative teams, to keep all web graphics and content current.
• Design and build micro sites and add functionality on 92NYs Internet properties.
• Create and maintain CSS design standards, client-side web applications, and CMS widgets.
• Proactively integrate web design trends and coding best practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Experience, Education, & Skills Desired

• BFA or equivalent in website design and web development experience.
• Minimum 4+ years' experience in fast-paced graphic and web production environment.
• Excellent graphic ability and a portfolio evidencing design skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to interact with varied stakeholders.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD (or Sketch or Figma).
• Advanced experience with modern front-end web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript), and JavaScript-based front-end frameworks, like Angular, React, or Vue.js and cross-browser compatibility.
• Proficiency with code versioning technology such as Git.
• Hands-on experience with Sass/SCSS.
• Experience with WordPress & back-end development with PHP, C#/ASP.NET, and AMPscript a big plus.

Work Environment & Requirements

• 40 hours per week, with a 1-hour meal break. Monday-Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
