MHS is currently seeking a part-time Health Services Support Staff Driver to join the medical team. This position assists the registered nurses and other health services in providing high-quality health care to students by transporting and accompanying students to/from off-campus appointments for treatments and delivering medication to the student homes. Also, provides emotional support and supervision while transporting students, maintaining personal/professional accountability at all times consistent with the vision and mission of the Student Health Services program. Minimum hourly rate at $14.13 an hour and we do not offer benefits to part-time employees. This position will not exceed 29 hours per week, Monday through Friday with hours from 1:30 pm - 8:00 pm; on Fridays from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Flexibility with schedule is a must.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
CPR/First Aid/AED Certified required or ability to obtain one within one month upon hired.
Valid PA Driver's License in good standing required; must have the ability to drive 8 - passengers' school vans.
Respect for confidentiality of all information pertaining to students, staff and others in the school community.
Flexibility and willingness to rotate shift, weekends and holidays required.
Physical ability to lift and assist injured students.
OSHA training for blood-borne pathogens a plus.
Knowledge of MHS campus and surrounding communities a plus.
Spanish fluency a plus.
Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS Staff are considered to be role models for MHS students.

Summary:

The Service Driver position is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of CDL trucks to and from other locations, shops, customers and vendors.

Essential Duties: include the following. Other duties may be assigned

• Deliver and/or pick-up trucks to and from other locations, shops, customers and vendors
• Road test customer trucks in for service repairs and report findings back to shop foremen and service manager.
• Complete log book for record keeping.
• Any other task deemed necessary to the daily functions as directed by the manager
• Must be able to drive across county and state lines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Commercial Driver’s License (preferred)

• Provides transportation of mobile unit to and from established sites
• Operation of generator and other on-board systems
• Completes daily pre-departure checklist to ensure proper operation of mobile unit
• Completes setup checklist upon arriving at site
• Completes end of day checklist upon conclusion of day
• Communicate with Mobile Clinic Manager and facilities maintenance regarding maintenance and housekeeping issues
  
  Health Care Associate Responsibilities:
• Register patients for appointments, distribute appropriate form, certify eligibility, and open medical encounter
• Confirm and update patient demographics in medical information system
• Calculate charges, collect patient payments, and balance monies with daily receipts per clinic protocol
• Assist patients with appointment scheduling, information requests and resource materials
• Enters data into computer accurately and efficiently
• Demonstrates commitment to, and understanding of, BACH's Behaviors for Success and GUEST (Customer Service Model), by modeling customer service excellence in all internal and external relationships and in the performance of all duties and responsibilities
• Work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and overtime, as necessary
  
  QUALIFICATIONS
• Required education, experience, training
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three months’ medical office experience or similarly related experience in customer service setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Preferred education, experience, training
• One-year community health or public health experience
• Medical practice management system
• Bilingual; Spanish highly desirable
