Dependable attendance and punctuality are critical. Responsibilities Ensures adherence to safe work practices and procedures. Successfully masters safety training and completes hazard recognition; the daily Stop, Look, Assess, and Manage (SLAM) Booklet; and Task Hazard Analysis (THA) forms. Knows the safety procedures and performs thorough reviews of the operator/user manuals prior to operating any power tools or equipment. Cleans and prepare construction site to eliminate possible hazards. Signals equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials. Education and Qualifications Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. The average work week would consist of 5 ten-hour days, but schedule will be dictated by project needs. ust be able to work out of town, sometimes out of state, and for lengths of time, such as the job would dictate. A high school diploma, GED, or trade school certificate is preferred. Your skills and certifications are valuable, and Kwest recognizes it. Laborer / Traveling Position - This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to advance Russellville, AR / Dardanelle, AR Full- Time / Hourly About the Role: The Laborer position is a vital role responsible for supporting various manual tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects. The primary goal is to assist skilled tradespeople by preparing and maintaining work sites, handling materials, and ensuring safety standards are met. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately to help complete projects on time and within quality standards. The Laborer will work closely with team members to facilitate smooth workflow and contribute to a productive and safe working environment. Ultimately, this position plays a key part in the successful execution of projects by providing essential support and maintaining operational readiness on site. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all on-site equipment, including but not limited to front-end loaders, forklifts, skid loaders and grinders. The position reports to the Operations Manager. Must be able to operate large pieces of equipment safely and effectively, and be able to self-perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with the operating equipment. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of workplace safety standards and willingness to adhere to them. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Legal authorization to work in the country of employment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related labor-intensive field. Familiarity with basic hand and power tools. Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Load, unload, and move materials and equipment to designated areas on the work site. Assist skilled workers such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by preparing tools and materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site to ensure safety and efficiency. Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision to complete assigned tasks. Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly. Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and assembling components as required. Support the setup and breakdown of scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures. Assist in the inspection and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning. Arrive and be ready to work by your scheduled start time Fuel, blow out air filters and radiators, and grease all points on equipment at the facility. Skills: The Laborer uses physical strength and endurance daily to perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials essential for project progress. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical to maintaining a secure work environment and preventing accidents. Communication skills enable the Laborer to understand instructions from supervisors and coordinate effectively with team members. Basic tool operation skills allow the Laborer to assist skilled tradespeople efficiently and contribute to task completion. Additionally, organizational skills help maintain a clean and orderly work site, which supports overall productivity and safety. Normal hours worked are 40-plus hours. Time and a half for hours worked over 40. The company pays for hotel rooms (for all away-from-home, overnight stays). $45.00 per diem.
