Position Summary:
Responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites. Unloads and loads materials, reads plans and specifications, tends machines, site demolition and property management (Landscaping).
Responsibilities and Duties
· Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders and other tools as directed by management.
· Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
· Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.
· Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
· Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.
· Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
Landscaping and property management experience a plus.
· Report incidents immediately to safety director, foreman or HR in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company.
· Travel out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management.

Day to Day
Our WORKS Fellow is responsible for supporting several successful programs, while also supporting all initiatives delivered by the foundation. The Computer Science For All: Building Capacity in Computer Science Education and Student Near Peer Classroom Mentorship Is an integrated math and computer science Professional Development research project that emphasizes a cascading near-peer project based pedagogical approach to math instruction.
College STEM Literacy Workers (CSLWs) are local college age undergrad and/or graduate STEM majors from groups historically underrepresented in STEM. They have two essential roles in this project.
The first role is to work directly with YPP and Bootstrap staff to become apprentice YPP educators of integrated computer science education through the Bootstrap Algebra curriculum and YPP Pedagogy. CSLWs will act as co-learners and co-facilitators with teachers in professional development sessions.
The second role is to work hand and hand with 9th and 10th grade math teachers to deliver quality content knowledge pertaining to the Bootstrap: Algebra module and other computational thinking principles. Some of the duties in the classroom are, but not limited to:

Program Management: Responsible for maintaining program quality. CENTRO Respite Services' purpose is to provide the primary caretaker with an opportunity to attend to his or her own personal needs or take a break from the routine care and supervision of his or her family member affected by developmental disabilities.
A respite worker will come into the consumer's home for a specified time. We are seeking dependable and hardworking Skilled Laborers to support our growing commercial drywall and framing projects. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on construction experience and build a long-term career in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Assist crews with the handling and movement of materials, tools, and equipment.
Support drywall framers, finishers, and carpenters with setup, prep, and cleanup.
Perform demolition, site preparation, and other general labor tasks.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Follow safety protocols and company standards at all times.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to team success.
Qualifications:
Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required-training provided.

Duties/Responsibilities
Deconstruct mattresses and box springs brought in for recycling, hitting productivity metrics set by Mattress Warehouse Manager (average of 30/day)
Separate materials (springs, foam, cotton toppers, trash) as directed
Follow all warehouse operational processes and safety standards
Assist in loading and unloading trucks
Assist Box Truck Driver with mattress pick-ups
