Primary Job Functions This is not an exhaustive list and employees in these classifications frequently may be to perform additional duties. Eligibility Requirements Must have a high school diploma, GED, or pass a Combined Basic Skills Test Have experience in machine operation Must be able to work effectively and efficiently both as a member of a team and independently Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision Ability to read, interpret, and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and assembly instructions Have analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail Ability to perform general mathematical calculations including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, percentages, and division Safety and quality focused Be available to work any shift, and be dependable and reliable to show up for scheduled work shifts including overtime, as allowed per the union contract Environmental & Working Conditions Will have to lift up to 50 pounds safely and drag blast hose over the full length of railcar Will perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials May work in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 4 ft. off the ground with proper PPE and fall protection Close mental and visual attention , coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time #rate Why Join Our Team?
