About the Team and Opportunity As an Enterprise Delivery Manager at Tandems, you will play a central role in how we deliver transformative solutions to our enterprise customers (we call them partners!). You will serve as the primary liaison between Tandems and our partners, orchestrating complex, cross-functional programs from initial scoping through successful delivery, and ensuring every engagement reflects the quality and reliability we stand for. This is a highly visible, high-impact role at the core of how Tandems executes. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Design, and Client Services to translate partner needs into actionable plans, manage delivery across multiple workstreams, and guide organizations through launches, integrations, and ongoing adoption of our products. You will lead implementations and software releases, strengthen strategic partner relationships, shape repeatable delivery frameworks, and help scale delivery excellence across products and teams. Your work will directly influence how Tandems brings new capabilities, including AI-powered experiences, to market with consistency, quality, and measurable impact. How You'll Make an Impact Lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise and AI-enabled projects, including scoping, planning, timeline creation, and cross-functional coordination. Drive partner-facing meetings with clear agendas, structured discussions, and strong follow-through to ensure decisions and next steps are well defined. Maintain alignment across stakeholders by reviewing team output, tracking delivery progress, and producing concise status updates for leadership. Facilitate internal prioritization by translating partner needs into clear requirements and partnering with product and engineering on tradeoff decisions. Collaborate across Product, Design, Engineering, QA, Marketing, Operations and Customer Success to resolve cross-functional issues and ensure delivery of cohesive, impactful product experiences. Plan and execute software releases, including runbook reviews, partner communication, coordination of release activities, and validation steps. Partner with the Enterprise Support team by tracking client/user issues, escalating urgency when needed, and driving timely resolution. Design and implement delivery frameworks, processes, and playbooks that scale across multiple partners and product lines. Document best practices and lessons learned to improve delivery quality, consistency, and efficiency over time. Ideal Person for this Role 5+ years of experience in enterprise delivery, technical program management, professional services, or an equivalent client-facing implementation role. Demonstrated end-to-end delivery ownership, with a track record of leading complex software or AI projects from scope through launch with on-time, high-quality outcomes. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. Technical fluency - comfortable discussing architecture, APIs, data flows, integration patterns, and model outputs (without needing to be an engineer). Deep experience with structured project management, including agile frameworks, roadmap planning, sprint execution, risk management, and dependency mapping. Proven ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams across Product, Design Engineering, QA, and Customer Success to keep workstreams aligned and moving. Where you will make an impact * Lead the application management, continuous improvement, and strategic alignment of key customer initiatives to clearly demonstrate customer ROI. * Manage a blended team of direct reports and matrixed team members to achieve customer outcomes as assigned per program. * Delivery on all responsibilities defined in the contract SOW. * Assist CIO with leadership functions and site coverage. * Define and promote best-in-class delivery practices, ensuring alignment with customer key objectives as well as EMS organizational goals and industry benchmarks. * Conduct delivery assessments to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in service delivery and client outcomes against standard delivery practices. * Drive a culture of continuous improvement leveraging performance data and client feedback. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize delivery processes, enhance quality assurance, and ensure repeatable, scalable success across client sites. * Serve as a strategic advisor to internal and client leadership, providing insights into delivery performance, risk areas, and improvement initiatives. * Establish and maintain delivery KPIs and metrics dashboards to monitor progress, highlight trends, and support data-driven decision-making. * Champion knowledge sharing and process documentation, ensuring delivery teams are equipped with the tools, templates, and guidance needed for consistent execution. What will you bring * 8+ years of operational technology delivery with a focus on standards adoption. * Working experience with administrative and/or academic application development and management in the higher education environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience with Ellucian Colleague, or other higher education ERP systems is a plus * Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities. * Willingness and ability to travel as required by project demands.
