About the Role As a Production Worker at Wheatland Tube a division of Zekelman Industries, Warren, OH, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth production operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing or light industrial experience and basic mechanical aptitude, including carpentry, general construction, farm equipment, automotive mechanics, or related skills, who are eager to grow and advance into higher production roles. What You'll Do Ensure adherence to proper safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment. Handle material movement efficiently to support continuous production. Operate mobile equipment to facilitate effective workflow. Manage production equipment to maintain operational standards. Utilize hand and power equipment effectively within a manufacturing setting. Who You Are 1+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience. High school diploma or GED preferred. Demonstrated mechanical and basic math aptitude. Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality. Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and maintain dependable attendance. Commitment to promoting health and safety work practices in accordance with regulatory standards. Physical Abilities Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to walk or stand for at least 80% of the shift. Ability to work rotating shifts as required.
