Software automation engineer job description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to work in our team. We primarily focus on game automation and GeForce Experience and infrastructure around it. Our automation framework and most of the tools are written in Python, so the best candidate will have excellent Python and good understanding of game graphics and familiarity with the way games behave on the system. You will be working in a geographically distributed team, so we would like to have someone self-motivated with a good ability to plan ahead
What you'll be doing:
Automate gameplay for the top game titles.Work closely with manual testing team to implement customer needs.Triage, debug, and implement fixes in the software stack.Communicate optimally with various teams throughout the company, as well as customers and partners.

What we need to see:
BS or MS in EE/CS or equivalent experience.3+ years of industry related experience.Strong Python programming skills.Understanding of the PC gaming graphics (like why some graphic settings have almost no performance impact, or what is DLSS) Previous experience of working on a large modular system software code base is preferable.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication and planning skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
OpenCV and computer vision experience Pandas and some experience with data analytics Lua and experience with game plugins / modding Windows internals Binary file formats

The Software Engineer II independently works on assigned task and is accountable for their design. This individual will be working on the Digital Business Platform team.
Principle Accountabilities:


Develops workflow Works on end-to-end solution and working prototypes to confirm the feasibility of technical solutions Provides production support for any immediate issues - process monitoring, instance debugging and production issue analysis and triaging


Skills & Software Requirements:


Overall experience: 3 years with a minimum of 2 years in Robotic Process Automation Blue Prism Certification is desired 0-2 years of experience in object-oriented programming (C#, VB, Java or Python preferred) Must have worked on RPA projects end to end, including build, implementation, testing, and debugging Should have knowledge of RPA internal Architecture Proficiency in working on various RPA components Must ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and functional as well as non-functional requirements Must have hands-on Experience with relational databases and be strong in SQL, joins stored procedures or PL/SQL, indexes, and views. Etc. Experience in designing and developing integrations with 3rd party system. Experience in working with JSON, XML & RESTful API Good to have BPM experience or Willing to learn BPM tool like Appian. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

We are currently seeking a Software Automation Engineer in our Software Quality and Validation Engineering team. The Software Automation Validation Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, deploy and maintain test automation frameworks & tools. This requires an experienced professional with a background in automation and system validation. The ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The Role:Develop Test automation strategy, develop scripts and software to perform automated system-level testing cycles Develop and maintain automation test frameworks Develop and plan test runs according to the software release plan Support test runs at various levels of integration, and document test results Report and escalate issues as appropriate and participate in triaging of issues with different teams Troubleshoot and triage issues to drive towards root cause identification, resolution, and the best possible product in terms of quality Align and support SQA processes and activities within functional areas such as System, Hardware and SafetyCoordinate and communicate the rollout of new processes, quality metrics and tools with all impacted teams
Qualifications:2+ Years of experience in automation, automation in automotive is preferred Proficiency in Python, Matlab, Machine LearningExperience in developing and implementing fully automated test scripts to control and execute system level test cases Experience in creating feature based test plans and implementing them in automation.Knowledge and experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS and related tools to measure and command signals Strong knowledge of Vector CAN and Diagnostic tools
Preferred:Experience in robotic programming and application
Education: BS minimum in an Engineering discipline such as Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automotive or similar
