OVERVIEW:
The CNC Programmer supports the manufacturing and tooling operations by developing, validating, and maintaining precise five-axis CNC machining programs using Mastercam and Vericut. This role ensures tooling and pattern equipment meet engineering and foundry specifications while upholding the company's quality, safety, and production standards. The position serves as a critical link between design engineering and manufacturing, driving process accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the pattern shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program and support five-axis CNC router operations using Mastercam
Set up CNC equipment, including work references, tool offsets, axis calibration, and program edits
Utilize Vericut program simulation to validate programs prior to machining
Read and interpret engineering drawings, including metric-to-standard conversions and GD&T
Inspect pattern equipment to engineering drawings and foundry dimensioning standards
Maintain organized program libraries, simulation files, and revision control
Collaborate with pattern designers, machinists, and foundry engineers to ensure accuracy and readiness of tooling
Participate in cross-training initiatives to support succession planning and operational continuity.
Actively recommend and implement process improvements
Follow all safety procedures and promote safety as #1 priority

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Associate's degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Equivalent experience with demonstrated five-axis CNC programming proficiency may be considered

ProSidian Seeks an Executive Management | NQA-1 Software Consultant - Integration Management (EX100) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which the U.S. Department of Energy owns. This is a Time and Materials or Contract W-2 Position. Executive Management | NQA-1 Software Consultants, support requirements for RFQ208262R Executive Management | NQA-1 Software Consultant Services (Integration Management Services). In special circumstances, the need may arise for the staff augmentation services of a uniquely qualified candidate(s).
Provide Software Quality Assurance and Cyber Security Consultant Services for the maintenance of Salt Waste Processing Facility (SWPF) Software Applications and Plant Control Systems for continued compliance with SWPF Quality Assurance (QA) Program and the Cyber Security Program at the Savannah River Site (SRS) under SRMC (The IMC Contractor).
DUTIES: Provide a variety of subject matter expertise to an assigned functional area.
TASK REQUIREMENTS
Provide DOE Order and ASME NQA-1 consultation and technical support for the maintenance of SWPF Software Applications and Plant Control Systems, and associated life cycle documentation
Provide DOE Order and ASME NQA-1 consultation and technical support for the SWPF Transition activities to IMC Contractor related to sf=software lifecycle processes, quality assurance, engineering, and other related areas as needed.

WORK REQUIREMENTS
ProSidian Consulting shall provide a service platform, professional, and administrative support for a Executive Management | NQA-1 Software Quality Assurance Consultant who can work in alignment with DOE Order 414.1D and ASME NQA-1 expertise in software quality assurance, and NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-82 expertise in cyber security to provide SQA/Cyber support for the maintenance of SWPF software applications and plant control systems for continued compliance with the SWPF QA Program and SWPF Cyber Security Program for continued safe operations of SWPF.
The Executive Management | NQA-1 Software Quality Assurance Consultant, shall provide support for the SWPF transition activities to the Integrated Mission Completion (IMC) Contractor, including review and integration of SWPF procedures and processes with that of the IMC Contractor related to software lifecycle activities.
The Executive Management | NQA-1 Software Quality Assurance Consultant, shall provide remote support, with periodic on-site assistance for SWPF Engineering and Quality Assurance activities."
PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATION(S)
Personnel qualifications call for an Executive Management | NQA-1 Software Quality Assurance Consultant with a minimum of 20 years of experience in real-time software engineering, quality, and metrics with active participation on the ASME NQA-1 Software Quality Assurance Subcommittee
Trained professional with certificate training and qualifications per SWPF Requirements
Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.

Provide support for internal and external assessments, evaluations, audits or surveillances for the Self-Assessment Program.
Independent assessment services will be provided using Savannah River Remediation Company (SRR) and Savannah River Site (SRS) processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.

Qualifications
The Facility Evaluation Board Assessor / Evaluator / Quality Engineer - QA / QC Functions shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Teamwork skills are important in the highly-matrixed project environment. Bachelor's Degree in a physical science (e.g., chemistry, physics) or an engineering discipline with a minimum of 12 years experience, preferably in nuclear related assignments, including direct operations management; successful performance in this position may require knowledge of statistics, math, and computer science along with substantial practical experience. An advanced degree, to the Master's or PhD/Doctorate level is preferable for some assignments, and holding an advanced degree would proportionally reduce the experience required. Specialized knowledge required varies with the particular independent assessment technical assignment. Knowledge of such activities as analytical chemistry, radiochemistry, conduct of operations, nuclear facility operations (HVAC and analytical process), environmental regulatory compliance, radioactive containment, fire protection, waste characterization, project management, quality assurance, and industrial safety and hygiene are typical areas in which the incumbent would need to demonstrate proficiency.
Knowledge in other areas, such as engineering design, maintenance management, and construction practices would also be beneficial. Extensive hands-on experience with computers and various types of software applications, knowledge of Savannah River Site administrative and business systems, and previous assignments in (for example) planning/project scheduling, information resources, or procurement operations is highly desirable. Substantive management experience in these or a related field is preferred.
Additional specialized knowledge in the theory and application of assessment and audit techniques and practices as a lso required to accomplish successfully both routine and specialized tasks. Incumbents must have/gain skills in effective communications techniques, assessment planning, time management, conflict resolution, data collection, analysis, and report writing similar to that of a NQA- 1 auditor or lead auditor. Strong written and oral communication skills are critical to this position. A 40 hour work week schedule as anticipated for this position. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). ProSidian Seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer - QA & QC headquartered near Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina to support an engagement for Nuclear Energy Sector Clients The Savannah River Site (SRS), a 310 square mile (198,046 acres) Department of Energy site, is located in the sand-hills region of South Carolina. It encompasses parts of Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties and is bordered on the west by the Savannah River and Georgia. SRS is close to several cities, including Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. It is also within a few hours of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville and Charlotte.

Qualifications
The Quality Assurance Engineer - QA & QC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
Required Qualifications are commensurate with functional and technical requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer position. Minimum Education are commensurate with functional and technical requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer position. Base Experience/Skills are commensurate with functional and technical requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer position.
