GDIT seeks Quality Analyst applicants for Columbia ship control software. The applicant will perform unit testing of Ada code, using VectorCAST. Must be proficient in Ada. Experience with VectorCAST and Git/GitLab is preferred, but not required.

This position requires individuals prepared to figure out complex code on their own, with minimal assistance, and solve their own test problems. The ideal candidate can learn quickly and work mostly on their own. Most of the software is written in Ada 2005, along with some Java 8 and a little bit of C 99. There will also be some new code development and writing of associated test plans. Applicants should have experience in Ada and/or Java, structural code coverage testing using tools like VectorCAST or CTC++, version control using Git and/or Synergy. This position requires work at contractor site in Groton Connecticut. Applicant must have at least an interim secret clearance.

Other position duties and responsibilities include:

+ Design and implement testing plans for IT related products and services

+ Identify test procedures and scenarios for the quality control of IT products and services

+ Provide cross functional support to help resolve defects and errors of IT products

+ Assesses performance of IT products and services to ensure they meet established quality standards

+ Collect and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to various IT teams

+ Resolve highly complex product issues and track progress
