Job Description: The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing noninvasive tests to evaluate peripheral vascular (arterial and venous), renal, aorta/iliac, and carotid artery disease. You will prepare preliminary findings and provide complex technical care using ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory setting. Primary Responsibilities: Perform ultrasound examinations to assess vascular conditions, including peripheral arterial and venous disease, Prepare preliminary findings and report results to appropriate medical professionals. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a variety of clinical settings. Utilize ultrasound technology to deliver precise and accurate results. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Qualifications:Minimum Education Required: Graduate of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Minimum Experience Required: No prior experience required. Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required. Registered as one of the following: Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RT(VS)) Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience as a vascular sonographer in a hospital inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory setting preferred. Physical Demands Requirement: Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds. Preferred: One year experience in vascular imaging.
