What you will do:
* Operate sorter controls for the unloading of sorter bins
* Keep lumber straight in bins
* Watch boards to see that they are stamped and trimmed correctly
* Perform PM's according to area requirement
* Keep work area clean
* To assist other coworkers as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Good communication skills
* Mechanical operator's experience
* Must know how to follow directions

What You Need To Know
Overview
The Lead Warehouse Worker is responsible for providing guidance and participates in warehouse operations. This position will train, provide work direction, and responsible for one or more of the following job duties: receiving, stocking, and loading.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive and check-in merchandise from in-bound shipments compare to purchase orders or other documents
- Fill case and bottle orders for products
- Train and provide work direction for others
- Load delivery trucks and other outbound shipments of billed orders
- Maintain and prepare records, as required
- Operate warehouse equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment as needed
- Restock daily bottle and case inventory sold
- Meet schedules and timelines
- Participate in inventory counts as directed
- Understand the safety rules and requirements in the workplace
- Attend safety meetings and take all safety classes, as needed
- Ensure warehouse equipment service needs, safety needs, and other safety issues are reported promptly
- Responsible for filling out equipment report before usage
- Responsible for meeting operational efficiency goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year of experience
- Forklift certified in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods
Physical Demands
- Physical demands include occasionally sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding a machine.
- Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift
- Physical demands with activity or condition may regularly include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and/or stooping
- Must be able to frequently lift/lower, push, carry, or pull 56 lbs.
