Who you are

What success looks like
Meeting with clients, gathering program requirements and having the ability to take projects from the design phase through the permit drawings. Ability to handling construction orchestration responsibilities once project construction has started. Field verification of existing building conditions, building base updates, square footage analysis, lease exhibits, and market plans.Work collaboratively with other Colliers team members Responsible to deliver Architectural Documents, in coordination with the Project Architect.Responsible for managing the Revit/AutoCAD, correspondence, and project files per Architecture standards at the project level.Ensures that a central project file system is current in relation to the projects the individual is working.Acts as a production resource to Architecture Leadership to help deliver our professional design services.Develops various production materials specific to the various audiences and business segments including, but not limited to, commercial, industrial, institutional, church, healthcare and private real estate development projects.Keeps updated on changes occurring in the industry and marketplace in order to take advantage of new opportunities for our business.Strong communication skills with both internal staff members, external clients and vendors with a proven ability to multi-task.You handle work orders, process invoices for equipment and facilities, author meeting agendas and minutes, and assist with reimbursement requests.Fill in as moderator on project calls as needed.You are successfully able to prioritize your time and work on changing priorities while maintaining a professional attitude and calm demeanor.Skills and ability to manage minor modification/renovation type projects.

Planate Management Group is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, USA with a technical support center in the Philippines that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies.

The Space Planner will be responsible for conducting interviews, advising functional adjacencies, and determining space needs at the VA Sunshine Healthcare Network (Florida and Puerto Rico areas). This position is a part-time position and contingent on the award of the contract.
Key responsibilities:

+ Assist in conducting functional space validations in the Medical Center, making determinations regarding space needs.

+ Assist in the determination of the compatibility of existing space to organizational needs versus defining new space requirements

+ Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as needed.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

+ Associate degree or graduate of an Accredited Trade School

+ The educational requirement may be substituted by 8 years of directly related experience

+ Experienced in document control and management

+ Professional experience should also include ability to read and interpret construction documents
