We are currently seeking a full time Support Staff Technician for our Allen County office located in Ft Wayne, Indiana. This position will work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication (verbal and written) and consultation with all center staff, clients and the general public. Maintaining a professional, customer-focused environment.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls, scheduling/rescheduling appointments for primary care and behavioral providers, taking messages and/or routing to appropriate extension
  • Collecting patient co-pays and payments at registration and general cashier duties
  • Retrieves medical records from outside providers and creates medical record chart for new patients. Maintains a working knowledge of release of information procedures per Meridian policies and procedures.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualities:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Two years secretarial experience.
  • Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Ability to type and/or use computer in order to complete data entry and telephone duties.

Raytheon Technologies staff technologist job description

The 2nd shift Staff Technician will be responsible for performing the quality inspections of receiving, in-process, and final inspection of mechanical, optical and/or electronic components as well as finished products to ensure meeting material and product specifications before released for production use or shipment to end customers.

The individual will be responsible for inspection of incoming components, assembled hardware and/or wafers, by utilizing various types of precision measurement equipment such as coordinate measuring machine (CMM), measuring microscopes, optical comparators, gauge pins and blocks, calipers, micrometers and other relevant measurement tools and devices.

Under moderate supervision, the candidate is expected to make decisions on acceptance/rejection and/or to report any findings not covered in inspection procedures to engineering for further evaluation. The individual will be responsible for following inspection plans or work instructions to determine if parts meet requirements per engineering drawings. Ability to interpret instructions (verbal, written, illustration) is essential.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position may need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
Other responsibilities include:

+ Schedule and prioritize workload in areas of responsibility under moderate supervision to meet schedule in a production environment

+ Conduct ad hoc quality inspection requests to support Engineering activities

+ Coordinate with Quality and Manufacturing to investigate and record nonconforming product

Required Skills:

+ Working knowledge of MS Office applications and database software.

+ Knowledgeable with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing on complex tooling and hardware (GD&T).

+ Ability to read and interpret quality requirements, detailed engineering drawings, determine dimensions and tolerance specifications for pass/fail assessment.

+ Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

+ Relies on moderate experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals

+ Solving moderately complex problems

+ Hands on experience performing visual inspections using microscope on complex final assemblies following inspection instructions

+ 4+ years working in ESD and FOD controlled areas

+ Understand gauge capability and Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts

+ Learn to conduct a First Article Inspection (FAI) and maintain appropriate records

+ Working knowledge of CMES, PRISM, or Common PDM data base tools

+ Wire bonding and Soldering operations or inspection certification/training

Required Education:

High School diploma with a minimum of 6 years quality inspection related experience

Desired Education:

Technical degree in precision measurement or equivalent education with a minimum 4 years' experience in directly related field (some technician coursework / AA degree preferred / ASQ certification for inspection a plus)

AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
