This position involves assembling and handling components used in oilfield applications, requiring precision, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Work independently or in small teams to assemble products measuring under 30 inches in length and weighing up to 25 pounds. Move assemblies through multiple production stages while ensuring proper handling and safety. Assemble components such as: Explosive detonating cords Oilfield shaped charges Explosive detonator assemblies Hollow metal carriers O-rings and mechanical fittings Perform supporting production tasks such as: Using cordless drills to clean, buff, and polish parts. Cleaning metal carriers with wire brushes and air nozzles. Follow all company and federal safety protocols and maintain accurate production documentation. Schedule & Work Environment Cyclical schedule based on production demand. 10-12 hour days are routine, with overtime and weekend work common. Work setting: Warehouse/production environment with no climate control. Requires frequent standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Steel-toe shoes required. Qualifications Must follow strict safety and handling procedures at all times. Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding production environment. Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
